The perfect property to relax in and explore the Loire. The property is a beautiful old building with very thick walls which provides a natural cooling effect inside. It has been renovated to an excellent standard and has everything you could want for cooking indoors or outdoors. It's located a very short walk from the river Cher and about 5 mins from a supermarket. The pool is very big and perfect for cooling off on hot days. Everything is maintained to the highest standards and Pascal is a wonderful host. There are so many places to explore even within just a half hour drive, you couldn't pick a better property. Additionally, the local town and neighbours are very peaceful and quiet. Perfect!

Very nice house in quiet rural location. Close to good supermarket, bakery and base for seeing the Loire Valley. Highly recommend.

A very prettily decorated house in a very peaceful setting near a beatiful river. Host Pascal was helpful and friendly, and left us a bottle of wine. Gorgeous warm pool. Supermarket 5 mins drive away. An excellent week!

Lovely stay

Lovely, spacious house with a fabulous pool. Definitely one of the nicest pools we've experienced! The bedroom/ bathroom layout of the house wasn't quite what we expected but worked very well for us. Bedding and towels are an additional cost. Information on the nearest boulangerie would be a helpful addition! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again.

Perfect Loire Valley getaway

We had a wonderful time at this house. There were only two of us but it can definitely accommodate a larger group. The house was just what we envisioned when looking to find a place in this area and it was just as pictured. Pascal and I believe his wife met us when we arrived and showed us around / gave us a tour of the house and property. The area seemed very centrally located to various day trips we wanted to take in the loire valley. This was a great house - we would definitely stay here again!

Great trip

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, well equipped property. Weather was fantastic which meant we could fully enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and garden. Very well situated for the town of Amboise and highly recommend visiting Villandry, Chenonceau and Chateau du Clos Luce - all within about 20 minutes. Bedding and towels are at an additional cost to arranged a few days before holiday starts. Watch out for the water display which starts every evening at 9:50pm in the back garden, gave us lots of entertainment especially if still on the patio. Hope to go back again soon.

Fantastic Holiday Home

This is a fabulous holiday cottage, peaceful but accessible and with everything you need for a lovely holiday. There was amle room for a family of 6, includidng 3 adult children The cottage itself is fabulous - downstairs there are two seating areas, a master bedroom with ensuite, main bathroom, toilet, and a kitchen. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, one ensuite with a shower, and a separate toilet. The kitchen has everything you could need and more, lots of utensils, pots, pans, bowls, cutlery, glasses, and enough plates to cater for a full house. There is a gas cooker with oven, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer (Brand new when we stayed). There is one large table inside another on the patio just outside the back door and a decking area up by the pool, with tables and chairs, stored in the pool house, but are simple enough to move. There is also a large barbecue area.The pool is immaculate and a great size.The cottage is in a rural setting, but there is a huge amount to do nearby with Chateaux that are loaded with history, and those loaded with Wine, if you are into Wine, I highly recommend the Caves Cathelineau.The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they will happily provide you with a list of recommended places; all the ones we tried were great.Our only regret was not staying longer, we loved our time here and would have no hesitation in booking again

We had a wonderful 5-day stay here. Everything was as described except even better - the house was so comfortable and the pool was lovely. It's perfectly located for day trips and exploring the region and Pascal and Maite have collected lots of brochures and maps to make exploring easy. Pascal's communication was very clear. I really hope we can come back soon, for even longer!

Das Ferienhaus hat uns bei Fewo gelockt mit einer Kombination aus toller Lage (wenn man die Schlösser der Loire besichtigen möchte), dem hundefreundlichen Garten und natürlich dem Pool.Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief zuerst über Fewo und dann kurz vor der Reise per WhatsApp, super praktisch. Als wir ankamen, erhielten wir einen super netten Empfang und eine Haus- und Gartenführung. Das Haus bietet im Erdgeschoss und in der ersten Etage Schlaf- und Sanitärbereiche. Die Küche ist mit ihrer Kochinsel ideal zum Kochen auch mit mehreren Personen. WLAN ist vorhanden, wenn auch phasenweise etwas schwach. Man probiert am besten aus, wo man den besten Empfang hat.Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es Rückfragen zum Pool, die sofort und kompetent beantwortet wurden bzw. wir erhielten auch direkt persönliche Hilfe. Wenn mitgeführte Hunde keine "Ausbrecher-Spezialisten" sind, ist der Garten einfach ideal zur gemeinsamen Entspannung von Mensch und Hund. Ein großer Teil wird von einer Mauer umrahmt. 1 - 2 sehr niedrige Bereiche haben wir einfach mit Stühlen zugestellt, so dass unsere Hunde nicht die Nachbarn besuchen Die Gegend ist wirklich ruhig und erholsam. Ganz in der Nähe (ein paar hundert Meter entfernt) liegt der Cher, ein großer Fluss, an dem man (mit oder ohne Hund) super spazieren kann.Wir haben in unserem Urlaub nicht alle Schlösser besichtigt, die wir uns vorgenommen hatten. Wir kommen allein schon deshalb gerne wieder

Well, where to start, the property is absolutely fantastic. Our family stayed here for a week and honestly we have nothing to moan about, only praise. The villa is spacious and extremely well equipped, the bedrooms are large and spacious, the garden area again is truly fantastic with a great swimming pool which fulfilled our expectations. Pascal the host was brilliant and nothing was a problem when we asked, even when we unfortunately left something behind he very kindly posted it home for us. Also its worth mentioning that there is a supermarket/petrol station and gym just 5 minutes up the road, my children used the villa as a base and easily travelled to many places including Paris using the high speed train, l must also say that there are some beautiful villages within a 30 minute drive. Overall a 5 star experience and we wood definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Pascal from our family.

Maison parfaite

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle maison bien rénovée et décorée avec goût. Elle est par ailleurs très bien équipée, il ne nous a rien manqué. Les enfants âgés de 3 et 7 ans ont adoré la piscine. Non seulement beaucoup de châteaux à visiter à proximité mais aussi une voie verte au bout de la rue idéale pour la petite balade digestive du soir. Si nous devons revenir dans la région, nul doute que nous réserverons à nouveau cette maison.
