Owner lives on property if there is anything you might need. There is an additional cabin on the 80 acres about 1/10 mile away…far enough away for secluded privacy but close enough Incase you wish to bring family or friends. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a time for reflection,... welcome home.

Serpent Mound visit

The cabin size was great for two people and the property was amazing! The interior was nice and clean except for some dead stinkbugs and an old aluminum cooking tray a previous guest must have left. We also had to cover the gas grill grate with some foil since it was rusty. The privacy of the cabin was my favorite part and it was close enough to some neat attractions and hiking areas. Trust the good reviews on this one! Worth it!

Great location to Serpent Mound!

We had car trouble coming in but were able to get several great recommendations to fix it in the neighboring town the next day. This location is rural enough to be secluded in nature, but close enough to get something in the neighboring town (Hillsboro) if needed. Very comfortable stay! Bring coffee and fixins if you are a coffee drinker, and protect yourself from ticks in the woods and high grass. Otherwise, gorgeous property, very nice people, and all the amenities you need for a peaceful getaway!
