Our foursome has been coming to the Wilberness cabin for the past four years at springtime to hike the surrounding area which is lush with wild flowers. We love staying at Becky and Todd's cabin. They have made it a warm and welcoming place for us to getaway and relax. We look forward to spending our time here.
Wilberness is beautiful, clean, and the host is amazing. It exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back. They thought of every detail. You will not regret staying here!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is gorgeous and cozy. All the little details inside the cabin the way they decorated it great job, definitely an escape from the city life.
We have stayed at the wilberness the past four years. We have made it a go to for us to get a reset for the new year and enjoy the hot tub therapy with an amazing view watching the wildlife. It’s an added bonus when it snows. The owners take very good care of the place and it’s very well furnished. We also love to go visit the Amish shops that are about 6 to 8 miles from the cabin. All around it’s a A for us.
Very informative before we arrived. Property was very relaxing, organized, clean and beautiful both inside and outside. If I ever come back to the area I will consider staying at this piece of property. The owners take great pride in the property and their quests.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Wilberness Cabin. We love it. Todd and Becky are wonderful host and they provide delightful touches to make the stay very memorable. The cabin is situated on a quiet country road and with a front and back porch where you can sit and enjoy the birds and the woods. Very relaxing.
This was Everything, the advertisement said it would be!! We enjoyed Each, and Every moment!!
I could write about this cabin, for days!! "ABSOLUTELY AWESOME"
The Wilberness is a delightful cabin tucked in the rolling hills of Highland Country. It has all the comforts you need and is cheerfully decorated and so clean. The backporch overlooks a sprawling wooded backyard with bird feeders. We visited the goats across the street each day. There were four in our group and this location was convenient to get to all the great hiking in the area.
This was our second time here and we loved it. The backyard & all of its creatures were one of our favorite parts. Lots of bird & dear watching and loving on the neighborhood cat Toby. He visited us daily. The cabin is so cozy and has everything you forgot. It feels like HOME. We look forward to our next stay. Thank you!
We had a fabulous stay at the cabin with our teenage daughters. The cabin itself is comfortable, cozy, and well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen/laundry/etc. We enjoyed all of our meals on the back porch while watching birds and enjoying the view. Despite the COVID-related limitations, we found lots to do in the area - hiking, beaches, boating, Amish country - and enjoyed the peaceful, beautiful setting. Becky and Todd were fabulous hosts - very responsive to any questions we had and made sure we were well taken care of! Highly recommend to anyone seeking an Ohio getaway!
When we arrived at the cabin it was perfect for our family getaway weekend. We built a fire each night and did marshmallows and s’mores with my grandchildren.
The beds were super comfy and we all slept more than we did at our homes. One of the grandkids favorites was the bunk bed.
We went over to see the goats and chickens multiple times and fed them lettuce and carrots. The cabin was super clean and contained everything we needed. It was a extra special weekend we all will not forget.
Good/Relaxing Getaway/Beautiful/But may need some updating on Listing. March 23 to March 25/two Nts
Cabin was Beautifully decorated as described. Everything you need is there, but could have used a little more Firewood, beautiful Pond located next to it, son was so excited, to start fishing at the Pond, which he did,two hours later man greeted us at the door, complaining we were on his Property.& He had to remove his poles.Maybe he should build a fence, he was rude, 😕 was sad for my son, he couldn't just let him just fish there. The ponds beauty needed some Luv. Bah!! WIFI did not Work. With the Password they gave us! But we found it.Very importantly get that info before you arrive. Update for Pond & WIFI for sure. Gas grill did not work. Was a little disappointed, rooms were decent & comfortable, but beds not that big. Maybe four adults.& 2 Young kids would fit the bunk beds, they sit Low.& The hot tub sits low too, so watch your head. All around we had a Fabulous time. But the Man with the Pond put a damper on our stay. So I Tuted!! My horn 📯 at him, when we Left. Be aware of the Grinch.
Everything was very clean, well stocked and comfy!! We had a great time celebrating my mom and her sisters 76th bday!
Things I would change:
-coffee pot would not make a pot of coffee. We let it brew for 45 mins 🤷♀️🤷♀️
-remove used bars of dial soap from shower and bathroom sink. No one wants to use or see used bars of soap that's not theirs 🤔
Other than those two items everything was great! We went to Amish general store and bakery. Lots of goodies!
Thanks so much we will def be back!
This was the perfect cabin for a little retreat! We wanted a place where we could just unplug and read and this was the perfect place. It was bit cold when we visited so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area much but we definitely want to come back in the spring so we can hang out hammocks and use the fire pit! There is also a super friendly cat that stops by and visits. We also loved having a list of nearby businesses and we went to the Amish Bakery for breakfast! We Would definitely stay here again.
Also just for information cell service was a bit spotty especially when inside the cabin. There was wifi but it was also a little slow so just keep that in mind.
