On the plus side the farm this is on is very beautiful on the drive in, and I love the caves to explore nearby and the cows by the fence. But right next to this cabin are a couple large work sheds which takes from the charm.
The cabin is cute on the outside, but inside it did not feel homey. The materials used seem to be the cheapest found at Home Depot. The fridge is in a bedroom, and note that there is no oven. Bathroom gets really hot. The whole cabin felt damp all night.

I am sorry the cabin was not to your liking. We do not put our nicest furnishings in a cabin that rents for $75 per night. The nicer cabins rent for more. With that being said most people love this cabin. I wish you would have let me known there was a problem with your stay while you were there. You should have had a small refrigerator in the kitchen section. I had just purchased new larger refrigerators for all the cabins. Unfortunately, I did not have time to install it in this particular cabin as I will have to remove a cabinet to make it fit. I should not have set in in the cabin before I could get it installed. I just thought you might appreciate having a larger refrigerator. Maybe I was mistaken. In addition the cabin description does not list a stove. It has a grill, griddle , crock pot, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator as the listing states. Again, my apologies.
Family issues came up and we didnt make it to the property, it would be cool to get the cleaning fee back on the count of not needing to clean again since noone was there.
Really felt like we got away. Only inconvenience was having to go up closer to the property entrance (which was some distance) to get a phone signal. But not having a phone signal was also a blessing in disguise.
Owners were friendly and attentive. The property manager Keesha was AWESOME! Loved the scenery and cabins. We felt like we were home and were sad to leave!!

Very quiet and many things to do and explore the property. Beautiful place and will definitely stay there again.
This location is a beautiful place for a secluded mountain getaway! The cabins were very nice, with full amenities including satellite TV. The surrounding woods, mountains, creeks, waterfalls, and wildlife were amazing. The Little Chapel is truly beautiful, and I can see why someone would want to have their wedding here. It is conveniently located near Huntsville as well as Guntersville and the lake. We will definitely be back.
The Property was beautiful. We saw deer, heard owls and even got to watch the cowboys on horseback gather the herd of cattle. Our stay started off a little crazy but only because another guest had their weekends mixed up and showed up a week early for their stay. Melinda quickly put us in a more expensive rental. We really enjoyed our weekend away from everything.
Great time, cool property and will stay and enjoy the relaxing, secluded and quaint village..
*Having no tv isn't a biggie but since cable provider had service issues there was no cell service because of wifi being down.. love the seclusion and privacy but somewhat of an uncomfortable stay due to cell coverage.. no way to be contacted in case of any types of emergencies.. overall awesome experience
My family and I really enjoyed our stay on the property. The drive was beautiful on the way to the property. Also, the property was very peaceful. It was a great weekend getaway for me and my family.
The cabin was ok but needed to be cleaned a little better. The bathtub/shower had not been cleaned. There was hair in the tub and dirt, there was a black grease looking spot on the side where the soap goes, and a red spot on the side that appeared to be blood. There is something wrong with the sewage because the drains smelled like sewage and after you flushed the toilet the sink would gurgle and would make the whole cabin smell putrid. The beds needed to be swept under as we were leaving we checked under the beds to make sure nothing had been kicked under them, it was visible they had not been swept under in awhile and we found a makeshift pet bowl under it. There was a some kind of water meter or pipe in the front yard that had the cover removed that could have caused a fall. A chair on the front porch was broken but semi put back together that my granddaughter tried to sit in and fell. It could be a better place with a little effort. Enjoyed the stay, the farm is beautiful and peaceful.

Thank you for your feedback. The red spot on the tub is a stain not blood and will not come off. I purchased a new cover for the meter and it was on it. Not sure what happened recently to change that but it will be corrected again today. The chair will be thrown away. The makeshift pet bowl is actually cedar shavings that we out under each bed. The plumbing had been working fine, no fowl smells. My guess is something was stopped up. I will have it seen about today as well. As for the rest (bathroom not clean and dust under the bed) my apologies, this is far from norm for us as you can tell by the reviews here and on Airbnb. My husband passed away Easter. His memorial was April 18th. I had breast cancer surgery April 21st, and on April 30th one of the incisions became infected. Therefore. I have not been able to check behind the cleaning crew or oversee things as I normally do. I will definitely make sure it is addressed. If you had made me aware during your stay I would have cleaned it or moved you to another cabin, or even refunded your stay. However, I do not compensate after checkout.
