The space This is a large, bright one room studio cabin with 400 sq. ft of covered deck and patio space with gas grill, fire pit, and hot tub overlooking the mountains. The design is a unique combination of retro design accents mixed with rustic custom-made cabin furniture and topped off with a Tuscan Villa theme. The vaulted ceilings and a spa inspired bathroom with windows facing the private woods, Italian tile, walk-in large shower and custom made cabinets help create a tranquil and serene retreat for our guests. Located 11 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is a great escape to unwind free from the distractions and craziness that life can sometimes bring. Having said that, there is fast Wi-fi for any streaming needs. We put our hearts and souls into this cabin so it is very special. Custom reclaimed wood furniture and a custom built Murphy bed with a queen-size memory foam mattress are crafted by local artisans. There is a queen-size leather sofa-bed for additional sleeping capacity. There are French doors that open to a large covered front porch overlooking the majestic mountains as well as a patio with a hot tub and fire pit for relaxing and star gazing. There are virtually no mosquitoes or biting insects here which makes it so pleasant to sit outside on the porch and read your favorite book, enjoy a candlelight dinner on the patio, or count the fireflies and stars. You can enjoy the quaint shops in downtown Waynesville and Asheville or take off exploring the outdoor wonders of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

This studio cabin is ideal for a peaceful mountain getaway. We appreciated the privacy, the hot tub, and the spacious shower. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and only wish we had more time! We will definitely book again if we find ourselves in the area.
This is our third time renting a cabin near Pisgah and this cabin was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful, has all the basics you need for cooking and great extras like the hot tub! The Murphy bed was good for a Murphy bed, but not as comfortable as I would have liked. The drive to Pisgah, DuPont and the parkway was not too long and very pretty this time of year! We really did love this property!
We stumbled upon this listing by accident and figured we would try it out after reading the reviews. The first things I will say are the views are AMAZING!!! To wake up and walk out on the front porch and see gorgeous mountains is so peaceful and gorgeous. The only downfall I will say (and we knew this going ) was the road leading up to the house. We have an Acura tlx type S and going 2mph we made it but it wasn't easy. Again the place was worth the dirt road driving:)The owners are very quick to respond and very informative with everything about the property. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend!!
We enjoyed our stay at this unique place, close to the Blue Ridge and Smokies. The view from the deck was incredible, we spent every morning and evening there. New retro style appliances were cool and loved the bathroom. Hope to return sometime.
My husband and I stayed here for our honey moon and pictures dont do it justice. There is the most beautiful view from the porch all day long. Theres plenty of outside lighting so coming back in the dark was no issue. The whole interior lights are dimmable which is top tier in my book. Its so cozy and the details to the design of the place is amazing. We enjoyed playing disc golf, relaxing on the porch, and checking out what the area had to offer! The bed is super comfy and you feel like royalty in that gorgeous bathroom.
The road to the cabin is a little rough and you do kinda get scary movie vibes at night but we had no problems getting in and out with our truck. But smaller cars should be cautious.
My only few critiques for the cabin is that it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the bathroom for getting ready, the side door to have a better lock, and better hot tub cleaning. I was very excited to use the hot tub and enjoy of the views but while the water was clear and clean, there was a film around the edge and the filters were pretty clogged.
I cant believe I stumbled across this little piece of heaven and I am so glad I did. I cannot wait to book again when its warm out. If you're considering booking, go fot it. You won't regret it!
The property was amazing, exactly as listed! We enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and the tranquility. Jim and Kristie provided very thorough information regarding the property prior to check in, which put our minds at ease before getting there and made the check in process so much easier.
Charming, rustic Italian feel that's close but feels far away!
This is a very cute cabin that feels like it's far away in the mountains but is close enough to everything. The kitchen decor is perfect and it was so nice to have high-end appliances to use. We used the rapid kettle every day for tea and the oven on Thanksgiving to make a turkey. The murphy bed was comfortable for us. I would classify the mattress as firm and that's what we like. As it was just the two of us, we just left it in the down position all week.
The location is very nice. I will warn that the last road is not paved and would not be friendly to low sitting cars. Fortunately, I asked before we brought the sports car as there's no way it would have made it without damage. We took our Acura TL and navigated just fine. The view of the mountains is fantastic, especially at sunset from the hot tub. We were there late November so the leaves had already fallen but I bet it's even more gorgeous early fall. Downtown Waynesville is just a few miles away and the cabin is right in the center of short, easy drives to Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Sylva, Asheville, Blueridge Parkway, etc.
You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a romantic getaway on a quiet mountainside. And the banana nut bread was a great touch!

Why they chose this property
We immediately fell in love with the area when visiting and quickly purchased this place. Originally started with 1.5 acres, but we currently own approx. 16 acres. We adore our sanctuary from our crazy lives, but the location is just minutes from the best restaurants in Western NC.
What makes this property unique
The view is fantastic and the structure is very unique. We have spent the last couple years getting everything just right so it is a pleasure to offer it to you.
