Wonderful spot for a long weekend. We had nice weather, so we enjoyed sunrise walks on Arataki beach every morning and then coffee and breakfast at the cafe just down the block.Place was the perfect combo of clean but comfy so you could feel like you could relax, perfect for travelling with kids, and Gail and her family were friendly and very helpful with any questions.

This was such a lovely place to stay. Fabulous location with close access to beach yet quiet and private as well. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. The quirky layout and colourful artwork delightful. Gail and Andrew are great hosts.

Fantastic place to stay

Great family friendly spot! Fenced and gated meaning our dog and daughter could roam free. Just across the road from the beach and fantastic hosts. Look forward to staying again

Fun place to stay

We were two adults and a teenager, the place has everything you want and we really enjoyed our stay. A shop in walking distance, the beach too, dog friendly- the place was super cute and we will recommend to friends or be back ourselves😊

iconic seaside bach

A really lovely property, but also very chilled out feeling. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, but unintrusive as well. They were so kind to all of us, including the dog. The decor is truly iconic - so many reminders of kiwi bach living. We highly recommend it.

Lovely place and great location

We had everything we wanted and needed. Local cafe and fishnchip shop, hot pools not far away, shopping mall a hop, skip and a jump, beach directly over the road. I would not hesitate to go again.

Why they chose this property

My husband & I bought here as we love the area, lifestyle & being so close to the beach. My husband is a keen surfer & that probably had something to do with moving here !

What makes this property unique

Our bach is ground level. It has a very relaxed & casual feel to it. The lounge has french doors that open out onto the sunny deck with seating & looks out over the outdoor area & established garden. The property is fully fenced.
