KXDJ Riverside 1 on the River

Named after the popular Texas panhandle radio station KXDJ - this home is sure to please our guests who are looking for a home that is right in town and on the river. This spacious three-bedroom home is located in a quiet corner of town and is perfect for families looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just kick it back Red River style.



With ample parking for OHVs or trailers and easy access to the river from the backyard for all your fishing pleasures, a vacation at KXDJ Riverside 1 allows guests to effortlessly go from enjoying the great outdoors to relaxing in the open living space in front of the wood-burning fireplace.



Along with the large living area downstairs, you’ll also find a full kitchen, fast streaming Tv and internet, as well as a ground-level queen bedroom with 3/4 bath. Upstairs are two more large bedrooms, each with a king bed and an ensuite full bath. The bedroom that faces the river also has a private balcony, and its adjoining bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. Don’t worry about oversleeping and missing out on all the fun as each bedroom comes with clocks that have USB ports. So charge up your body and phones for an adventure. Other amenities include a washer/dryer and a gas BBQ grill, propane included. Trailer Parking Available. High-speed Wi-Fi is available making it a great choice for remote workers! This property now has a hot tub on the beautiful deck. The guest authorizes a $500 security deposit refundable after inspection of the hot tub, upon departure. KXDJ is pet friendly, so Fido is welcome to come along with a $125 non-refundable pet fee, due at check in. All reservations are subject to our rental terms and conditions and cancellation/refund policy. In the event of a cancelation, merchant service charges are non-refundable. If you have any questions, please reach out prior to your stay.

KXDJ Riverside 1 has 2332 square feet.



**Please note that during the fall of 2024 and spring/summer of 2025 the town of Red River will be replacing waterlines. Their normal working hours are from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday; however, there might be times that they have to conduct work during the weekends. You can expect traffic distributions and temporary water outrages while they are working. Please note that on-street residential parking might not be available during construction. During these times, access to Red River and Pioneer Creek recreational area might be reduced or diverted. Please be aware that any construction or town activity is not in our control. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Everything was wonderful. The house was great! If you have toddlers the walk can get a little long depending on where you’re going. We took our wagon. The house had anything we could have needed. Hope to go back soon!!

Great place! We all loved the hot tub, the beds are comfortable, everything was clean, and the location was great. It is not walking distance to Red River Ski but it's very close. I mean you could walk it but it would take no less than 15 min and would be exhausting following skiing all day. The people around town were very friendly.

Nice cabin near the ski resort

We had a great stay at the cabin. The interior is a little dated and warn, but it was clean and cozy. The location was great just outside of town and the deck with the stream running by and mountain views was perfect.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the water running by the property where we could feed the ducks and there were opportunities to fish. The scenic views of the mountain were spectacular and the convenience to town make this property attractive. The kitchen was stocked fully and the cabin was clean and comfortable. A garage area made unloading a breeze and gave kids a good place to play when it was raining outside.

Close yet far enough from town

We didn’t want to be in the mob for the Fourth of July, so this was the perfect location. You can only hear the river; we could walk to everything in town. Grill, hot tub, patio. The home is very well furnished, perfect for three sets of people sharing beds, six total. A significant amount of natural light and a little Thoughtful personal touches made it enjoyable.

The pictures were a bit deceiving, cabin was way overpriced for the lack of quality. We have been going to Red River for over 40 years, and this is the first time i haven't been happy with everything. The crazy Vrbo fees made it way to expensive. And this fee was not brought to my attention until after we agreed to the rental. Then i called to discuss the fees and got someone that couldn't speak English, so that got me nowhere. Probably the last time I use this site.

Wonderful Cabin

My husband and I loved this house! We are planning on coming again with our children. The location was prefect and we were able to watch the mule deer drinking from the river and watch the skiers coming down the mountain, all while we enjoyed a drink in the hot tub. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was a wonderful trip and we can’t wait to return!

Perfect plave

House is so peaceful and well appointed with all that you’ll need. Location is perfect to easily get to town. Mule deer pass thru and the ducks in the river are precious. Hot tub is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We absolutely loved it and hope to return.

Birthday Weekend

This was the perfect birthday weekend! We even got to play in the snow before we left after Mother Nature dumped 5in. This cabin had everything we needed and was perfect they even had a sled and snowball maker for the kids. I loved the large back area and the creek right at the door. We definitely will stay here again
