Lovely accommodation

Great place to stay. Lovely accommodation with great location. Nice and quiet surroundings but close to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful hosts with great attention to detail. Would recommend this place to everyone, specially families with children.

Our time at Dewdrop

Our second time to Hastings staying at Dewdrop Cottage and its become our place to go. We love that there is space for friends to drop in and share a meal with us. It's clean, tidy and with nice rooms for privacy...and a lovely owner

Orchard/ farm setting

Ideal stay away with a bit of everything for family. We were a three generations group enjoying time together. Something for everyone to enjoy; a pool, animals, toys, lovely sheltered outdoor area. Perfect all round

Perfect family getaway!

The property was the perfect size and location for our needs. 4 adults and 3 kids. Lots of toys for the kids to stay occupied. Lots of room to run around. Nice quiet place to relax and close to activities. Totally recommend this getaway. 👌

What a stunning location among the apple orchards and vineyards of Hawkes Bay. We enjoyed two weeks at the lovely Dew Drop Cottage, although with 4 bedrooms its more like a house than your typical cottage. The place is fabulously comfortable from the two recliner couches in the living room, to the luxurious beds, two bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen with every amenity you need to cook at home. There is a large BBQ on the deck, an outdoor dining table and a couple of loungers to enjoy the sunshine. We were supplied with milk, juice, cookies, a bottle of wine and plenty of apples from the orchard. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding carrots to Lightening, the pony, and the big racehorse. Wendy & John are very personable hosts and we enjoyed talking to them during our stay. This accommodation lacks for nothing and we highly recommend this lovely house in the countryside. It really is a slice of heaven here!! Thank you for hosting us and I hope we make it back one day. Susan & Blair

Wonderful stay at Drewdrop Cottage

Drewdrop Cottage was the perfect location for our three- generation family holiday. Our three year old loved the “unicorn” - pony, the pool and the many toys. We all loved the peaceful view and the comfort and cleanliness at Drewdrop cottage, we would definitely recommend.

Comfortable & Homely

A large group of myself and friends stayed here, it was great and spacious! Had a swim in the pool when it was hot. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Short drive to Havelock North. We stayed here for the purpose of going to Nest Fest as well which was a short taxi ride away which was great.

Beautiful little cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Dewdrop Cottage. It is clean, cozy and comfortable, a real home away from home. Fabulous hosts who let our daughter ride one of their horses. We will definitely be back.

Spacious beautiful country cottage

Wendy and John are wonderful hosts and Dewdrop Cottage is the perfect base for a holiday in Hawke’s Bay. We loved the views over the flowers to the paddocks, feeding the horses, the strong water pressure and the genuinely friendly hosts who live about 50 metres away in a separate house on the same property. The kitchen is well equipped and the linen is high quality. We are a family of 4 and stayed 10 nights and would definitely stay again!

Cozy house in a very nice area!

Cozy house in a very nice area! Went for walks with the little ones and they enjoyed the dog, the horses and the apple farm! Very nice to have games and toys in the house! Everything you need of kitchen equipment and such is provided. Felt very welcome when the owner came with fruit and showed us everything in the house. Thank you!

Dew drop cottage We spent 5 fantastic days at the cottage! The house is lovely and has all modern comforts, including a large bathtub, Netflix and air conditioning. The orchard and gardens are great for young children to run around in and have fun – and the horses are very friendly! We were very lucky to spend some time with Wendy and her family who made us feel welcome from the get-go and were full of good advice regarding what to do in the Bay. We really can’t recommend the cottage enough!
