Overall we enjoyed our stay, the view and access to the bay was amazing. We would not recommend it for elderly people as there were lots of stairs and bathrooms were modern with no handrails etc.The property needed a spring clean. Lots of cobwebs outside and dust on internal skirting boards and window sills. Toilet brushes needed replacing in all bathrooms. Beachside guest bedroom - fan light no working, curtains would not close completely.Master bedroom with ensuite - fan not working in bathroom.Kitchen - floor need a good wash, sticky area beside the fridge.
Great location. Enjoying kayaks and paddle board. Could have been cleaner.

• Arrived to find two home construction sites nearly next to us. The noise started from early morning to late afternoon. It was so bad we couldn’t hear the water lapping or birds and couldn’t hold a conversation or hear the TV and covered us in cement dust if we sat outside It destroyed the very reason we were there. We nearly returned home. • The main bedroom ensuite’s fan is not working thus spreading steam throughout the bedroom. • I had to unblock the sink in the main ensuite. • The rugs in the main bedroom are a trip hazard. • The yard was littered with debris which indicated it had not been maintained for some time.
We had the best time at Foreshore Bliss. The house is an architectural wonder and takes full advantage of the amazing location and impressive views and even on the hottest day there was no need for aircon because of the cross breezes created by the brilliant design of the house. The neighbourhood is quiet but so convenient to all that Port Stephens has to offer - a super short drive to the surprisingly large selection of shops (Woolies, Coles, Kmart etc), some amazing restaurants (highly recommend Rick Stein’s at Bannisters) and fun stuff for the kids - the camel rides on Birubi Beach was a highlight. The house is literally steps from the white sand and crystal clear water of Salamander Bay. A very comfortable home with great bathrooms and kitchen well stocked if you want to cook (plenty of glasses, plates, utensils, pots and pans and appliances), comfy beds, nice linen and plenty of towels. We hope to stay again.
We sent a big email with a lot of let downs regarding the cleanliness, never got a reply, its been 3weeks. Not acceptable for a property worth 1k/night and rented for 8days...
