This is a family style home close to the city centre with a large garden. This is our home, so has some clothes in wardrobes and family photos on walls. You will enjoy the peaceful outlook into the wetland and treed hill. And the Birdlife is always fascinating.
There is a convenience store, cafe, Indian Restaurant, hairdresser, gym and cosmetic clinic at the local shopping centre at the end of the street, 2 minutes walk away. Also, less than 1Km away a New World supermarket, pharmacy, liquor store, op shops and Four Square. A large shopping centre is at at Bethlehem, 5 minutes drive away.
Saturday morning, there is an excellent Farmers market in 4th Avenue.
There is plenty of choice of outdoor activities close by, including golf at Tauranga or Otumoetai Golf club, mineral waters at Fernland Spa, and the very popular HOBBITON 40 minutes away at Matamata. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL for this world-renowned tourist attraction. The TECT all-terrain park on the Rotorua road offers great mountain biking, as does Oropi Grove Bike trail. You can walk or cycle extensively from the nearby wetland area which also includes a lovely childrens' playground. Access is at the end of the street. Additionally, 2 streetss away in Millars Rd, the local school has an excellent playground for older children.
The beaches and harbour at Mount Maunganui offer fishing, surfing, swimming and boat cruises. Please use beach towels supplied in the linen cupboard. We recommend Oropi hot pools which has mineral pools, a licensed cafe and mini golf.

There are 2 additional fold out beds if booked for more than 6 people which will be placed in the queen and king bedrooms. We are in a quiet residential neighbourhood, so no loud music, no parties and no additional guests. Quiet time outdoors after 10pm. No smoking indoors. Remove shoes on entering the house. WIFI password supplied with keys and instructions inside. We are glad you chose to stay in this unique location.
