The bach was very homely and welcoming and had a very kiwiana vibe with original Nz landscape paintings and retro furniture. Also nice views with nice glimpses of the ocean and estuary. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering a stay in Mangawhai. Hosts were easily reachable and made us feel at home. Many thanks!
The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close the town center. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a family getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent, making check-in and our overall stay smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay!
The homely house was a great place to stay, whether for a short stay or a longer break. It is within walking distance of the beach, golf club, Bowling club and shops. We felt at home at the very start and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house is in excellent condition. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our kids loved the abundant games and puzzles as well as the outdoor swing.
Amazing communication with friendly host whose written emailed instructions were clear and helpful. The lockbox was easy to find. The bach is a classic 70's era place. We loved the furnishings of a great time gone by. There are glimpses of the ocean and lovely views of hills. There are walks nearby leading down to the estuary. The fabulous ocean beach is a very short drive away. We loved it here.
Awesome accommodation, only minutes away from Mangawhai Bowling Club, very convenient.Big enough for the 8 of us for the weekend. Full kitchen, laundry, nice big bathroom, bedrooms are the perfect size. Close to shops with a variety of eateries to choose from.
House was lovely, everything you need, cozy and a unique style. Location was really awesome, short walk to the water with awesome sunrises and close to the mangawhai beach as well as some lovely bush walks. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay, we are both very keen to go back! Highly recommend :)
