Accommodation is located in a summer fruit orchard, surrounded by fruit trees and with an elevated view to the Tuki Tuki River and Te Mata Peak.

The 40m2 two bedroom flat enjoys all day sun, with the lounge opening to a deck and outdoor area. One of the things to look forward is to relax in the outdoor bath and sauna.

Perfect choice if you enjoy the country lifestyle, outdoor activities, knowing that coffee shops, restaurants, wineries and shops are only a short drive away.

Although the flat is positioned next to one of the houses, grounds are separated to ensure privacy and a relaxed atmosphere.
The Tuki Tuki river flows alongside the property and can be accessed by a 5min walk providing opportunities for swimming, kayaking, trout fishing, white baiting and duck shooting. Walking shoes or boots are recommended as the grass and fennel plants are sometimes long.

Our property is located 15kms from Clive, 16kms from Havelock North, 20kms from Hastings and 25kms fromNapier.

One of many Hawke's Bay cycle tracks starts at the property boundary, allowing you to explore the surroundings by bike. The track leads to Haumoana, Clive and Havelock North. Two adult bikes are available on request.

Te Mata Peak, a popular tourist attractions, is only 20 minutes drive away, providing stunning views over Hawke's Bay as well as several trails for hikers and mountain bikers.

Cape Kidnappers 18 hole award-winning golf course is only a short drive away as well as other golf courses.
You could also explore the world's largest mainland gannet colony on Cape Kidnappers .

Everything was wonderful! Tina and Joe are the most welcoming hosts, not to mention hard-working orchard owners. Beautiful peaceful location, not too far from the Overland Safaris to the gannet colonies at Cape Kidnappers, and to Te Mata peak. A bit further to Hastings and Napier, but worth the drive. Great place for a relaxing stay or a stay full of activities. We’d definitely stay again if our travels were to bring us this way in the future.

Lovely setting, and very very comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time at the place, but actually it would have been nice to have spent more time there. It was very relaxing and close to Cape Kidnappers (or main destination) and Havelock North too.

I spent a wonderful week here. The cottage is located on an orchard not far from Hastings and Napier. The kitchen was stocked with the items I most needed to make basic meals. The queen sized bed was firm and just what I needed after flying for a day before arrival, and after a drive down from Auckland. The addition of ergonomic pillows was a lovely surprise as I usually use these at home. Though the driveway is gravel, this wasn't an issue. The wifi worked well and the tv has the basic channels plus access to Netflix. Overall my stay was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a spot that is close to almost everything while having the benefit of being 'off the beaten track'.

Unfortunately there were ants everywhere and we had to throw out quite a bit of food. With the fridge the only safe place from them.
