Laybak Retreat -Highly recommended comfortable Kiwi batch

Our Kiwi bach is a warm cosy much loved suntrap. This property is perfect for the family holiday (Pet friendly)or for a group of friends just wanting to get away from it all. Also ideal for a one night stay over. Te Anau offers the beauty of the mountains and Lake with the natural wildlife being very special. Sitting out on the deck you can take in the relaxing atmosphere of TeAnau with the view of the mountains and the sound of the bird life.
With being so handy to town its a lovely stroll in to dine out and have a couple of drinks or to take the family to a nice cafe for lunch..
We have 4 Push bikes available for your use at any time, boules, quoitze,crochet and a bouncy trampoline and a small sandpit for the kids. There is board games and DVDs for those wet days!
Set in a safe quiet friendly neighbourhood with an extra large back yard with plenty of parking space. We would like to share with you our piece of paradise.

Layback Retreat is a lovely property within an easy 15 minute walk to bars, restaurants,shops and the lake.We particularly enjoyed the patio, garden (thanks for the boules) and barbeque.Mick was brilliant in sorting out the gas for us for the barbeque!We had a great stay!

Perfect Launching Pad for Fiordland Adventures.

Laybak Retreat was the perfect HQ for our adventures around Te Anau, Fiordland Ntl Park and Milford Sound. The bedrooms were very comfortable & the kitchen had everything we needed. Spotless clean. The host communicated promptly & clearly. Highly recommend a stay!

We live on a lifestyle block at Browns in Soutrhland and love to holiday in TeAnau, The beauty of the Lake Bush and Mountains are very special and we are lucky enough to Airbnb 2 properties in TeAnau. I have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting and talking with guests.

Why they chose this property

We love to holiday in our typical Kiwi Batch with a large section there is plenty of outdoor space and its great to sit on the deck at night and watch the sun go down. My husband went to school in TeAnau so its nice to come and see friendly faces of the past.

What makes this property unique

Outdoor living area with Bbq(Summer Only) and Outdoor setting to enjoy that early evening sun, lovely to watch the Tui's in the trees
