Fairview Lodge was comfortable with a lovely front lawn. We enjoyed the view of the lake from our balcony and had fun with a bonfire in the fire pit at night. It was perfect for our family reunion with lots of bedrooms and a long dining table.

The house was very spacious and the extra guest cottage assured plenty of space for our large family. The outdoor space was amazing. We had four grandkids under 7 who loved the sand pit area and the huge yard space to run around and play. The close proximity to the lake was appreciated. The location offered plenty to do with just a short drive. The house was well stocked with what you need to cook and the open concept allowed for everyone to be in the main house and be comfortable. The only downside was having to bring bedding, but I can understand. Overall we had a great long weekend and when we plan another this will be on our list of places to stay.

This is our family's 4th annual trip to the ADKs and this property was perfect for our ever growing family. We've learned over the years things we like/need to accommodate us. The extra cottage was great to have a separate place for us to stay with our two littles that are up early to not disturb the rest. The large open kitchen and dining table made it easy for our large family! The views of the lake and wildlife were stunning; several mallards, loons and deer on the property. We had an issue with the dryer in the main house so it was nice that cottage had a washer/dryer as well. The host was quick to respond in regard to that and compensated us a bit for the hassle which wasn't expected but a nice surprised! 5-10 minute drive from Inlet/Old Forge and walking trail access to Sis/Bubb Lake trail right across the road. Mountainside Smokehouse restaurant right at the entrance to the property, food and staff were fantastic!
