Beautiful house!Very roomy for our family of 14.Pool was terrific and only a short walk to the beach. Many chairs and water toys available.Fishing off of the dock, watching the wildlife, and using the pool table were enjoyed by all. (Especially observing the manatee who needed a drink from the rain water run off!)Thanks for the memories:)

Thank you for the outstanding 10/10 review! We’re so happy to hear the home was a perfect fit for your family of 14. It’s wonderful to know everyone enjoyed the pool, short walk to the beach, fishing from the dock, pool table, and all the beach equipment provided. We love hearing about your special wildlife encounters—spotting the manatee must have been such a memorable experience! Thank you for letting us be a part of your family’s vacation and for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back to make even more wonderful memories! Best regards, Roelens Vacations

We were a group of 11 adults and we loved the house! All the amenities were nice and clean. There was enough space (and bathrooms!) for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The pool and hot tub were wonderful with a great view as well. We appreciated that there was sufficient seating and dining chairs for everyone. There were plenty of beach supplies including chairs, umbrellas, wagons, and coolers and the beach was only a 7 minute walk. Great location close to the Publix as well. Overall made for a great relaxing trip! Do note that you may have to purchase things like detergent, soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Prior to arrival and during our stay communications with Roelens was easy and helpful via text. Would stay again!

Lovely well appointed home

Manatee Hideaway was an outstanding property, and perfectly suited for an extended family gathering. We had 2 families with children ranging from 5 to 17. Everyone had plenty of space and privacy. The home was exceptionally designed with multiple washer/dryers, multiple dishwashers, and en-suites for every bedroom. Beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. I also loved that most bedrooms even had noise machines for restful sleeping. We loved the pool, hot tub, and Sonos sound system - all easy to use and very enjoyable during the stay. The island itself is still in full re-build mode, so there was construction going on all around us, but that was to be expected.

Expectations exceeded

Great family place-pool and beach wonderful. Super convenient location to beach & grocery. Restaurant not so much by foot but close drive. Traffic beyond crazy rental management very responsive. Downstairs bathroom location not great -one in suite bathroom for three bedrooms pluses far outweigh negatives -would love to rebook but not available fir our dates in 2022

Booking was misleading

We shared this home with 5 other couples for two weeks. After we arrived we learned that there were only 4 baths. The VRBO listing showed 5 and when I talked to the property manager about this he said it was a rounding issue with the VRBO web site. This was a complete disappointment. Because of the way the house was laid out 3 couples had to share one small bathroom on the lower level. The dishwasher was also broken the first week so we had to wash dishes (for 12 people by hand for a full week.)
