This house was literally perfect. It's easy to feel comfortable when you walk into a home that is immaculate. Location was excellent, close to Echo lake and Diana's bath (not that we ever got there early enough to get a parking spot) 15 minutes from North Conway. We had a great time. Michelle was easy to communicate with, friendly and responsive. Things we did: Lost River Gorge, Cascade park, dinner at Pemi Public House (all in North Woodstock), swam at first covered bridge, floated for hours at Echo lake (need a parking reservation), Zebs, Christmas Loft, White Birch books, outlet shopping at Settlers Green, dinner at Muddy Moose, and Flatbread Co. We will definitely be back!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It certainly sounds like you made the most of your stay. I can't wait to welcome you and your family back!
My sister, cousin and our families had the most beautiful weekend away in this clean, comfortable and gorgeous home! Michelle was extremely accommodating and her communication and instructions were seamless. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a low key relaxing weekend away. The family room in the basement, large outside deck and hot tub made for an array of activities and provided space to hang out during a rainy day when the weather didn’t cooperate! 10/10! Thanks Michelle. We will be back

Thank you so much for your review. I'm so glad you enjoyed our home and the location. It was a pleasure hosting you—come back anytime!
Beautiful and well-maintained home. We arrived during a period of record heat and the two air conditioners were able to cool the home much quicker than I expected. Host was very responsive & professional. Location was great with easy access to North Conway. Highly recommend! One note -- this is for the county/township & not the home. You have to take the trash/recycling to their collection center. It was very easy to do and the instructions provided were very clear. I only mention it in case you have mobility issues. Again, for us it was not a concern or an issue.

Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm so glad that the ACs performed well during that record heat wave.
I love that you flagged the trash situation! Consider it a little taste of country living—self-service refuse management 😄. Honestly, it's one of those things that separates city dwellers from mountain folk. But I'm grateful you found the instructions clear and easy to follow, and your note about mobility concerns is genuinely thoughtful.
I'd love to welcome you back to the North Country anytime.
The place was beautiful - inside and out. Well furnished and well equipped for all of your needs - cooking, hanging out, playing games. We had a blast!

Stayed here for a week with our family and doggos. The house is perfect and the location is near everything you need. We really enjoyed the finished basement area in the evenings to watch movies together and our dogs love the porch to lay in the sun.

This is the 3rd time we rent one of Michelle’s vacation homes, and this new vacation property was the perfect place to stay during our latest trip to the White Mountains! This beautiful home is clean and comfortable and is in a great central location. We especially appreciated the hot tub after a couple long hikes. We will definitely be back!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. I appreciate it and truly look forward to hosting you again.
Me and my husband stayed here over the 4th of July with our 3 young boys and pup. We had such a blast…with so much to offer our family, we could play air hockey, enjoy the fire pit, walk down to the river, head into the center, and enjoy the hot tub after the kiddos were asleep. The house is immaculate and cozy, and Michelle was so responsive and attentive during our stay. We’ll be back, and I can’t recommend this property enough!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed everything about it and can't wait to host you again!
Overall, this day was absolutely amazing. Everything was just as it was listed. It is such a short drive to a bunch of different attractions and restaurants that we were able to enjoy with our two year-old son. We have had a vacation in the past that was absolutely horrendous and completely not Listed correctly, and I have to say that this was by far the perfect vacation. We will absolutely use this location again in the future.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that your stay was everything you hoped for—and especially meaningful after your past experience fell short. It means a lot to know I could help make your "redemption vacation" a great one! I'd love to welcome you and your family back anytime!
We had an amazing vacation. Michelle’s home was absolutely beautifully. It was impeccably clean and had more than enough room for our entire family to have their own space. The downstairs was a huge hit for the kids with the air hockey and large sectional sofa. The hot tub was mine and my husbands favorite. I can only imagine how beautiful it there in the winter with that gorgeous window! Thank you again Michelle for sharing your beautiful home for our last summer vacation! We will definitely be back!:)

Thank you for the heartwarming review, Jaclyn. I truly look forward to hosting you and your family again!
The house was beautiful and everything I saw online was exactly as it was shown. The kitchen was well equipped with everything, and they even provided you with the option of containers to take home, which was a great amenity. The beds were very comfortable, like a Tempur-pedic bed. We stayed in the master bedroom the closet was fantastic. I only wish the bedroom had a ceiling fan as one of the days was on the warm side and the room was warm. I usually bring my own small fan as I can’t sleep without the white noise so that helps bring the cooler air. I did bring this to Michelle’s attention at check out and she ordered 2 new fans for the house.I also wished the slides had screens and to let in the cooler air. The weather was not great, and it rained a full day, so we took full advantage of catching up on our favorite tv shows in the basement on the super comfortable sectional and huge tv.

Thank you for your kind and thorough review. I’m glad you found our home beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. For clarification, the food storage containers are provided for use during your stay but are not an amenity to take home. I hope to welcome you back to the Mount Washington Valley again.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this White Mountains lodge! The space was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with so many thoughtful decorative touches that made it feel instantly warm and welcoming. Our days were filled with adventures—it’s in a prime location for exploring the local area, especially all the incredible natural swimming spots nearby. When we returned, the amenities kept everyone entertained; the kids were obsessed with the cinema and games room, while the hot tub and cozy outdoor fire pit were the perfect ways for the adults to unwind in the evenings.
Michelle’s home felt exactly that. It was clean and welcoming! Had all the amenities. Perfect location from day trips we planned. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay for whatever it is you're doing. Place is centrally located to Skinning, Hiking, theme parks for the kids, train ride, or just shopping. The hosts are very quick to respond with any questions you have. My family visits the Washington Valley area every year, and this was definitely our best stay by far. Thank you to the hosts for sharing that beautiful house with us, we hope to return.
