Lovely cottage, decent sized for our group with plenty of heating and a generous kitchen and lounge. Location incredibly convenient too right at the bottom of the Ohakune mountain road and walking distance to the Powderkeg.

Great location. Family friendly warm home. Close to mountain. Drying room added bonus as we had lots of wet snow boarding gear.

Fabulous place

Loved our time here in this spacious, cosy heritage cottage! The beds were all very comfortable, electric blankets made it next level. A short stroll to the awa, and close to everything you need. Highly recommended.

We stayed at 23 Railway Road in Ohakune for our daughter’s basic training graduation, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was well set up, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free visit. The space was warm, welcoming, and clearly well loved — it really felt like a home away from home.
