Our visit at Nedonna Nest was so comfortable, spacious and memorable! We used to live in Oregon when our children were little. It has been 15 years since we were here as a whole family. Returning this week with grown adult children and even 2 grandchildren, was a full circle vacation for all of us. When we weren’t visiting our favorite places along the coast, we were eating yummy food, playing games, or just spending memorable time together as a family. The Nedonna Nest was perfect for us and an ideal location to see all the things we wanted to see and do! We are already talking about when we can return!

We had a good stay overall. The home was clean, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of space for our group. The location was convenient for enjoying Rockaway Beach, and check-in was easy. The hot tub was a nice bonus after spending the day at the beach.The kitchen was adequate for preparing meals, though it wasn’t especially well stocked if you plan on doing a lot of cooking. The biggest issue during our stay was that the air conditioning wasn’t working, which made the house warmer than expected. Aside from that, everything else met our expectations, and we enjoyed our time here.

We had issues with the cable, fireplace and locking mechanism at the garage door, the upstairs bathroom sink had plumbing issues, and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.

Gorgeous house! The kitchen was amazing and the hot tub was so nice. Clean and super communicative with the company. Super easy to check in and out. Again the house is gorgeous. Would stay again.

The PERFECT place for a beach vacation in the Rockaway area. The location was ideal for visiting multiple oregon coast attractions and was in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was close, with several access points to a lovely beach. We were traveling with small children and grandparents and found the house to be ideal for all of our family members. There were a lot of little touches that made the house feel inviting. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to make most of our meals at the house. The kids were very disappointed to leave the "vacation house". A few suggestions: *The back yard had a lot of overgrown blackberry bushes which made it challenging for the kids and pets. *Communication with the rental management company wasn't great. We had an issue with the TV and a lady came out to fix it the next evening, said she would be back and we never heard from anyone again. *Fans would have been nice for the bedrooms. Just even a small oscillating fan for nighttime. *The houses communication about dogs was a little confusing. Clarification would make for less stress for pet owners.

Very clean and full of many necessities and more. The hot tub is excellent. The grill was tricky to start (auto starter didn’t work), but we got it starting fine manually. Accessibility to the beach is a major plus. Overall great stay!

Stunning Vacation Home

We love this vacation home! We have stayed in a lot of places where you can tell people have furnished their vacation property on a budget. This is the exact opposite. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a place that feels quite such high-quality in every aspect. We are a family of six and had a huge amount of space and flexibility. The kitchen was superbly equipped, and the outside space was great even in the rain. The hot tub was perfect for all of us and the beach only a few minutes away. The perfect place for chilling with family and friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The house itself is nice, comfortable, and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience with the property management company left a lot to be desired.Several amenities were either broken or poorly maintained: the TV in the main living area didn’t work, the fireplace wouldn’t turn on, the refrigerator’s ice maker was broken, and the toilet paper holder in the primary bathroom was coming off the wall. Overall, it felt like there was a fair amount of deferred maintenance. For the price you’re paying, you’d expect the home’s amenities to be in excellent condition.Fortunately, someone in our group had a work laptop, so we were still able to watch movies on the living room TV in the evenings. Even so, there are probably better options in the Rockaway area that offer a better value for the money.The property’s dog policy was also surprisingly confusing. The listing advertises the home as dog-friendly, but the pre-arrival instructions said no pets, and the information posted inside the house also stated that pets were not allowed. You can imagine our momentary panic when we were already on our way with our dog and received an email saying pets weren’t permitted—even though we had booked the property based on it being listed as dog-friendly. We were able to clear up the confusion by messaging the host, but it was an unnecessary source of stress that could have been avoided with clearer, more consistent communication.

The property was perfect for our girls’ trip. We loved the location and it was well stocked with all of the essentials. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Oregon.
