Clean place but could do with some updating. Wifi is not good and something was going on with the sewage because there was a bad smell outside during our stay. We did notify management but didn't hear back about it. Bring extra tp and pair towels - not much is supplied. Great location near lots of different things to do.

This is a great location. Have stayed here in past 2 years, this year was the third year. And I’m not renting in 2026. We are yearly, frequent VRBo renters, and have stayed at many different properties in various states. This property is neglected and rundown. The living room sofas are dirty and need replacement. I covered them with sheets before sitting on them. In 2024 I purchased a set of pots and pans because the pans in the house were rusted. The house needs to be power washed. The master bedroom had a lamp with no lampshade, something that is easily replaced. The beds are too small in each room. Take out those dressers and replace with queen beds. There is great potential here but this house needs serious updating and refinements not just cleaning. Disappointing for the cost.

Quiet home getaway

Check-in was great..got there before the cleaning woman showed up,,waited for her to finish...I in turn cleaned the house. Quiet location but close enough to enjoy Ocean City.

In the middle

Love this house. It’s located right in the middle of Assateague and Ocean City which makes getting to both places a breeze. It’s also in a nice quiet area with nothing but trees. The house was clean and big. Beds were very comfortable. We can’t wait to come back.

Pleasantly surprised - the photos don’t do justice.

Really surprised by the spaciousness of this beach house! The photos didn’t really convey the ceiling height! Decent location on a deceptively busy road. Stores and everything close by, enough cell signal for the map to show us the way.. We drive out to Assateague Seashore each day to just hang so top shelf lodging is not priority; but we definitely would be back and recommend as a drivable beach house.

A bit dated, but spacious and clean

We enjoyed that this home had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was more than enough for us. We liked the full kitchen, although we did have to go buy a cutting board and oven mitts. It was easy to get in and out with the keyless entry. And the driveway was nice to have for parking and unpacking/packing up. Although not within walking distance to much, it was an easy drive into Berlin and to Assateague.

First House Rental

This house felt immediately like home when we arrived. It’s such a comfortable place. We brought a lot of our own kitchen items to cook and eat with , but there was plenty in stock. The carpets and sofa show their age but that didn’t detract from our opinion. So much natural light in the house made it nice. We would definitely come back and also refer to someone else

Mostly great

The really long door unlock code is annoying. We couldn't get Internet to work which was not ideal. We learned the morning we were leaving that the clothes dryer wasn't drying. We needed those clothes for the last day of our wrestling tournament so it upset our routine quite a bit and we were late to the Civic center. Other than that, it's a nice place to stay if you need to be in the area.

House nerds some attentuon

We noticed the lighting in the house was coolly taking care of there were several light bulbs out.I think we count at six in the living room kitchen area. Also noted the master bathroom shower seal was coming off the door. Also notice the water has a really foul.Smell coming from it and it was orange. And the freezer under refrigerator was all frozen up.The ice maker did not work. The dish. Washer liquid water all in the kitchen. There was only one TV and the house none of the bedrooms had T.V's. The master bath toilet paper holder was The overall lighting for the house was very poor no ceiling fans or anything falling off the wall.

DO NOT DO IT. VACASA IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY

I booked this place for the weekend and upon arrival I was met with stained carpets, blood stained sheets, a dirty bathroom, and some cockroaches. As a result, I refused to stay and I left immediately and was told I would receive a full refund. The day after I was told I would not receive a refund and I would be out of luck, even though I called upon arrival to let them know the deplorable condition of apartment. This place did not favor the pictures at all. Additionally, the WIFI barely worked. I subsequently had to go back and forth with Vacasa for 4 days straight. I talked to workers, to mangers, to general managers and supervisors and they all told me I would not receive a refund. This company has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. They are only concerned with pocketing your money even if the service they are providing is far below subpar. It ruined my vacation as I had to stay elsewhere for over 2000 dollars. They refused to give me my money back even though I did not stay at the property because it was disgusting. My fellow guest said it reminded them of a "traphouse/frathouse". For those who do not know, a trap house is where illegal activity and illicit drug use occur, and a frat house is widely known as being a dump. I would not advise any one with children to stay at this unit as I did not even feel comfortable sitting on the couch after driving for 4 hours. I will never book with Vacasa again and I would advise those who want to have a carefree

Not bad for the price

House was nice, but definitely could have been cleaner (crumbs on the tables, floor was dirty). There also was no toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags. Other than that it was a decent place. Would stay there again in a pinch.

July 2022 stay.

The home is very pretty and well laid out. Parking is an issue. We did not find out till a few days before we came down that only 1 vehicle is permitted on the property. This is very difficult especially if you have 8 people. This is information that should be posted before booking. There was a problem with the air conditioner, we got to the house and it was 80 degrees inside. We had to call and have someone come and fix it. The TV and dvd player did not work, again we had to have someone come out a fix it. The dish washer was out of service. These are all small things but all together add up. For the cost of the weekend we expected everything to be in working condition. Otherwise the house was clean and it was a nice stay.

Great for a family vacation away from the city

Perfect location, we were about 15 minutes to ocean city but close to restaurants, shopping centers and gas stations. Loved how quiet and peaceful it was for my kids at night. The house itself could have used some basic upkeep (the porch had spiderwebs galore) and some of the decor was broken but left out or stuffed away in a cabinet. A picture was missing off the wall in the dining room with the command strip stuck to the wall. We paid for a late check out but the cleaning people still showed up at 10 am and we had to explain to them we were doing a late check out and had a receipt. They said they were not informed of this by their boss. We also decided to purchase a TV while staying there because there is only 1 tv in the house, located in the living room. It was overall a great stay and we would stay again.

Nice place for families

The house is open and spacious and is only a 10 min drive to Assateague. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable but, as some other reviewers mentioned, it is very sparsely stocked with kitchen supplies so if you plan to cook and eat in the house you might want to bring a few extra supplies. Overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Not a bad stay

Pros: location to Ocean City; house is pretty spacious; huge backyard. Located near some stores that are ideal if you forgot somethings (ie., Walmart). Cons: poorly cleaned. There were huge piles of dust and dirt that clearly had been there a while. There was also hair that was in tge tub and on the sheets. The furniture also had lots of stains on it and could benefit from an adequate cleaning. Lots of ants!!!! No communication from manager once there. I had no idea who to contact. This isn't a bad house at all. As i said before the location is great to OC and is very secluded if that's what you want. The big issue for me was the cleanliness of the house in light of the fact we are in the midst of a pandemic.
