We have a pool, spa pool, and BBQ area, all surrounded by horses, cows, and chickens.

The Space:
Misty Mountain View by Tiny Away is located in Waihi, North Island, New Zealand. This small town is famous for its gold mining history, including the Martha Mine, stunning beaches such as Waihi Beach, and outdoor activities like hiking in Karangahake Gorge.
What's more, Misty Mountain is one of Waihi's most fantastic holiday homes, tucked away just an hour scenic drive from Auckland. A mere 21 minutes from the quirky town of Paeroa, is effortlessly accessible, yet still maintains the charm of a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of convenience and serenity for your getaway.
This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is nestled in a paddock near the main house, with a large, stately oak tree right in front, where you will find the BBQ area. It is surrounded by a swimming pool at the back and has friendly horses and cows nearby.
Inside, enjoy easy access to water, split air conditioning for comfort, and a well-equipped kitchenette with cooking essentials. The bathroom features an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
If you plan to spend your holiday homes NZ getaway here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: While the horses and cows on the property may seem a bit intimidating, the owner will be happy to guide you on a tour if you are interested.
Guest Access:
Guests can enjoy the tiny house and the pool area. However, the gazebo by the house is off-limits. You are welcome to explore the property, but please wear sturdy shoes as there are thistles in the grass.
Enjoy BBQs, the spa pool, swimming, and horse grooming. Take a scenic walk along Taieri road, leading to the 4x4 track in the forest.

- Firewood is available with extra cost of $10 and fire lighters will be provided.
