Great spot for a quiet getaway, but equally close enough to easily get to Waihi Beach or Bowentown for some high quality beach and bush walks.Everything a couple needs to relax. Great little bbq for two.Hosts are nearby, but its still private enough you barely notice them.

What a great place for a getaway. Nice and cosy on the cold, wet days and bright and open on the sunny ones. It was wonderful having a beach so close and Waihi and Waihi Beach a short drive away. Highly recommend

Fantastic stay, mostly private and quiet, clean, own off-street secure parking, not too much in Athenree to do but it was raining so it didn't matter too much to me.Would definitely stay again.
