Our secluded treehouse will be your nest in the woods. Paved driveway allows for easy mountain access. Pet friendly cabin with a beautiful Lake Rabun view from our wrap around porch. Open floor plan allows for bright sunshine to cascade indoors. King bed and extra sleeping daybed is ideal for couples and couples with small children. Also our cozy screened in porch allows for comfortable outdoor dining, watching movies and summer naps! Located across the street from Hall's boat house & marina. Walking distance from Max's Lakeside Restaurant & Bar, Lake Rabun Hotel and Lake Rabun pavilion. We are close to Tallulah Gorge, Clayton, Black Rock Mountain, and multiple hiking trails. There are many activities in the area including fishing, zip lines, white water rafting, waterfalls, hiking trails, horse back riding, boating and much more! Come enjoy a magical weekend in Rabun.

Great Location

This was a nice place, conveniently located within the area of hiking trails and waterfalls. The view of Lake Rabun from the deck was the perfect way to end each day. The dogs and I enjoyed our stay.

We just love returning to this awesome cabin at Lake Rabun. It's perfect for us, and the hosts are so nice if you need anything at all. Makes for a great experience!

Cabin in the Clouds

Great location looking down on Lake Rabun and near all the lake action and nice hikes. Since the building is in the air, glass on all sides, and you are looking out at the treetops, it almost feels like a treehouse. It is a nice quiet retreat.

Great vacay with the puppers! We had an awesome time kayaking on Lake Rabun each day and coming “home” to such a private & comfy cabin. Everything was perfect, from the farm fresh eggs to the big comfy sofa!! Thank you Scotty & Jason!

Property was very charming and a great location, very private. Definitely would stay there again. And, the host Scotty was very good with communication. My only suggestion would be a larger TV for upstairs.

Time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!!!!!

We were wanting to escape the scorching summer heat of The Florida Keys and stumbled upon this adorable property! Scotty was a perfect host and catered to every request possible! The cabin is perfectly cozy and has a nice view of Lake Rabun! Very private as well! 5 starts all across the board!

Amazing cabin tucked away in the midst of nature with absolute privacy and security

We really had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and so many windows and natural light coming in from all directions. It’s close to the main road and yet tucked away in the trees to give absolute privacy. We really loved the privacy. The fact that it’s a secure facility was such an advantage. The deck on all four sides was great for our pets to run around and still be within boundaries. We did have some issues with the WiFi connection but Scotty and Jason as hosts were super helpful and responsive and made sure that the issue got resolved. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again in the future.

Thanksgiving 2022

This property was better than expected for my family of 4. We really hated we could not spend more time at the cottage, as we were running to and fro so much. The view from the living room is wonderful. My favorites times were sunrise and sunset overlooking the lake!! The home is cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. White shiplap, warm lighting, comfortable furnishings inside and out. Our host, Mrs Freeman was always in touch and very knowledgable of everything to do and see in the area. We will be back. Also the neighborhood is very nice and we walked it twice for exercise.

Wonderful stay on the ridge

The cabin was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our dog. The plentiful windows and doors provided so much natural light all around, with multiple access points to the wrap-around porch, and view of the lake down the hill. Scotty was an excellent host and even left us fresh eggs. We were within walking distance of the lake as well. Would highly recommend!

Private Cottage in the Heart of Lake Rabun

This cottage is tucked away in a very private setting in the heart of Lake Rabun. It's easy to walk to things around Halls Boat House. This cottage is perfect for a couple and a couple of dogs. I look forward to my next trip to Lake Rabun and my next stay at this cute cottage.

Perfect for our needs

What a fantastic location. Worked out perfectly for our needs. It was like a giant hotel room with an outstanding view and easy parking. The lake was so much fun over the holiday and the weather in July was perfect. Highly recommend this property.

Great Thanksgiving weekend stay

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet getaway from the city over the thanksgiving weekend. Scotty communicated well, answered the questions we had, and was quick to respond to a minor issue we had with the WiFi. We enjoyed hikes in the area, and my husband enjoyed road cycling around the nearby lakes in the mountain terrain. In the afternoon we sat out on the deck and with a fire in the chiminea. The house was clean and tidy and well appointed. Scotty was kind and left us some of her farm fresh eggs. Thanks for a great long weekend.

Close just a couple of things rubbed us the wrong way🤔

Great property but it’s the small things that would make it even better -night lite in bathroom. It is pitch dark there at night our only option was to leave the bathroom light and crack the door-little investment big payback -please upgrade the quality of the TP. You obviously took the time to lay out the property spend a little more in an area that was overlooked

Beautiful Unique Cabin with Fantastic View and High End Touches

Scotty was a fantastic host for our wedding weekend in Lake Rabun. A family of friends stayed at this property and loved every bit of it. The downstairs bedroom had a camping kind of feel for his two girls and the upstairs is really a high end large studio with fantastic views of the lake and the woods. Extremely well furnished and lovely throughout. Highly recommend staying at this property if you're in the area.

Wonderful weekend

Scotty’s place was lovely and perfect for our weekend stay. Communication was excellent. It was clean, had everything we could need, plus amazing views of the lake and surrounded by woods. There were lots of little touches that made the place special including farm fresh eggs from Scotty. The driveway is steep and we have a little car but we followed the directions provided and didn’t have an issue. We would definitely be back!

Great cabin!

Enjoyed our long weekend! Cabin has a wonderful view of the lake and is an easy walk to the marina. Lots of outdoor space on the wraparound deck, which also has a chimenea for a nice fire in the evening. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
