Summary:

William Street Abode, a peaceful retreat backing onto a five-acre koala reserve. Enjoy nature, a kitchen with a BBQ/pizza oven, fire pit, and spacious deck. Perfect for families and nature lovers, small pets welcome outdoors on request!



The Space:

'William Street Abode':



Please note: For stays from May 2026, this home will have a new layout with 3 bedrooms (2 X queen beds and one King single with single trundle and separate single bed), refurbished dining and lounge areas, an upgraded bathroom with washer and dryer and a separate toilet. This is the back part of the house. The front part is occupied by the owner or other guests and is completely private. Updated photos coming soon.



We call it “acreage living without the responsibility!” Backing onto five acres of protected koala reserve, our home is a peaceful sanctuary where wild birds, koalas, and tranquillity reign. Enjoy the best of nature with a fire pit under the stars, a coffee maker for slow mornings, and a fully equipped kitchen with a BBQ and pizza oven. Sit back and watch the native birdlife flutter by, or visit our backyard finches.



Alexandra Hills boasts many family-friendly parklands, wonderfully wild conservation areas and is a short drive to the coast and bay.



Perfect for your family getaway to be surrounded by nature and explore the islands.



Main Living Area:

Walk in the front door to a beautifully renovated home. Cook in the gourmet kitchen, choose whether to dine on the 4 seater indoor kitchen dining table or the outdoor 8 seater dining table. Then relax and chat around the comfy lounges (seats 6).



The Kitchen:

Fully equipped, with oven, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, pizza over, BBQ (built in) and fridge/freezer.

This room opens out onto the back deck area.

The bathroom has a shower, vanity, toilet and washing machine and dryer.

There is a separate toilet next door to the bathroom.



The Backyard:

The expansive back deck is the place you will want to spend the majority of your time. Walk out the back and into a peaceful sanctuary of plants, wildlife, and native finches.



The outdoor lounge setting has two single chairs and one three seater - perfect to sit with a good book or enjoying your freshly made coffee in the morning or just take in the nature all around you. While the kids play on the grass and explore the 5 acre nature reserve leading from the back gate.



The nature reserve is a children’s parkland and paradise, with designated play areas and a dog runs. Just open the gate and you're in the reserve!



The Herb and Vegetable garden:

Guests are welcome to pick fresh herbs and enjoy the lettuce and other seasonal delights from the garden during their stay.



THINGS TO NOTE:



**Important update for bookings from May onwards



A few changes are happening to the property, so we want to be upfront before you book. From May the home will be configured as a 3 bedroom home with 2 queen beds, plus one king single bed with pull-out single trundle and one single bed.



The bathroom has been upgraded, and the dining and lounge furniture have been refreshed.



There may be a separate mobile home parked at the back of the property, partitioned off from the rest of the back yard. You will have the whole of the back yard and deck to yourself (apart from where the mobile home is parked). The front part of the house will occasionally be occupied by the owner and both parts are completely separate with separate entrances.



* the whole house may be available as one listing with three additional bedrooms - one queen bedroom, one twin king single bedroom and one single bedroom. Please enquire about this.

No smoking in the house.



House Rules/Additional Info:

• The nightly rate covers accommodation for up to 6 guests. The property has a strict maximum occupancy of 7 guests. We do not accommodate more than this under any circumstances. However, if additional guests stay without prior approval, a further charge of $40 per person, per night will apply. Please ensure the correct number of guests is included in your booking to avoid these charges.

• Pets on approval only.

• Pet fee per pet applies.



THINGS TO NOTE

*If you’d like a mid-stay clean and fresh linen during your stay, please ask and I can arrange this for you. For stays of 14 nights or more, a clean and linen change is required every 14 days so the property stays fresh, comfortable and well cared for. Additional charges apply.



IMPORTANT

Before you arrive you will be asked to:

1. Complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via text to complete the verification.

2. Choose between a refundable deposit of $500 (plus admin fee $15) or a non-refundable damage waiver of $50.

3. Sign our rental agreement



Guest Access:

The keys are in a lockbox at the front entrance. Use the provided access code to retrieve them.

Getting Around:

From our places, you’re just minutes from Cleveland CBD, Capalaba Shopping Precinct, and local parks. Buses nearby connect to Cleveland Train Station for trips into Brisbane. Enjoy easy drives to Redland Bay or outdoor activities along Moreton Bay.

Local streets and nearby parks are good for cycling and jogging. Alexandra Hills is close to Moreton Bay waterways, perfect for boating and fishing trips.
