Central Sacramento, a neighbourhood in Sacramento, is home to this apartment. El Rancho Bowl and Bing Maloney Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Discovery Park and Governor's Mansion State Historic Park. Check out an event or a game at Golden 1 Center, and consider making time for Cal Expo, a top attraction not to be missed.
This is the 2nd time I stayed here. The space is comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located. The market across the street is helpful. I recommend this property. I will only stay here when in Sacramento.
This place is awesome! So are the people who own it!
The apartment is very cozy. I will definitely stay here on future visits to Sacramento. It is conveniently located with a small market across the street (The Peace Market) and it is in walking distance of almost everything. I was glad I met the owners, they are amazing people. This was my first Vrbo rental and I am very happy I found it.
walkability factor is 10000% ! perfect place to stay in downtown Sac. place is good size, plenty of room to spread out, great for 1 or two people. kitchen has lots of good items like salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, oil, etc.
Parking can be challenging, it is residential permit parking for 1 hour, so be careful where you park.

Hosts (manager and owner) very nice and responsive. However, disappointed in the place/ amenities: a) tv didn't work well, i.e. lousy reception (no cable) and netlix didn't work at all, and no other streaming channelsb) no handtowels in bathroom, just washcloths and bath towelsc) only had a few paper napkins and tiny roll of papertowels... good thing we didn't do any cookingd) bathroom could use a shelf or such, i.e. no place to put toiletries, toothbrush, etc.e) couch not comfortable...too low, smallf) bedroom could use a dresser, no place for our small items... had to ise a chairg) bed too soft
He didnt bring towels with us and would it be super if you could provide with a couple more, in the place.
There was only two, and two little ones.
We stayed 2 nights and wer
There was a little bit of miscommunication on check-in with the lock box that keeps the house key. They have a very prominent keypad on the door jam that doesn't work and then one on the door that is the one you're supposed to use. I got in late and didn't see the one on the door so had to call the owner for help. They promptly gave me directions for how to get in the back door. We figured out later that I was trying to use the wrong keypad. Other than that, this was a very nice stay for a great price. Would definitely stay again as it's in a great neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and lots of restaurants.
Fair accommodations for the price we paid. Convenient location. We walked everywhere we needed to be. It was great

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
You get what you pay for
I thought I was getting a great deal, but now remember you get what you pay for. I was visiting for a conference, so the location was great for that (able to walk to event).
Pros: The place was clean and mostly comfortable. Easy to walk to coffee shop for breakfast. The bed was fairly comfortable but we all differ in our opinion on beds.
Cons: $52 parking ticket because the communication was not thorough. Instead of using space on the "things to know" sheet on the desk to tell me you prefer we don't where shoes in the house, maybe explain the city street parking rules. I texted and owner called but was not clear (also not pleasant on the phone). I arrived after dark and after 12 hours of driving. I parked in a spot that I thought was OK. After the conversation, I moved to the spot that yielded a ticket. Ultimately, I should have walked down the street a bot to read the dirty street sign that indicated when street cleaners were running. OR, host should have that in writing for guests. Sorry for rant.
Other cons: It was a long space with divided rooms and one baseboard heater. A supplemental radiation space heater was supplied and worked fine as long as I stayed in the living and sleeping area. The inside was clean but the exterior could use some work. The TV is a small Polaroid flat screen, come on...TVs are cheap these days.
In the end, I would not stay here again or recommend it. It didn't change the outcome of my trip but did add some annoyances.
