While we enjoyed our stay, we had two frustrating issues. First, there are two lockboxes on-site, and clearer directions would have saved us the time it took to find the correct one. Second, we arrived to find the main trash can completely full from the previous renters. Communication regarding this was confusing; we were first told someone would come empty it, but were later told city pickup was two days later and to wheel the heavy, stinky can a long distance to the main road. On pickup day, we noticed no other neighbors had to do this, as their cans were collected directly from their houses. Having to manage someone else's garbage for two days with nowhere to put our own was very frustrating.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay. We are glad you enjoyed your time overall and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We apologize for the confusion with the lockbox instructions and the inconvenience caused by the trash situation. Based on your feedback, we have updated our trash reminder communications for future guests to help clarify the pickup process and reduce the likelihood of similar situations. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Dauphin Island again soon.

Clean and comfortable setting in a great location. Seconds away from the beach and a lovely view of the sea from the deck. The air conditioner easily kept up with the heat despite record temperatures this summer. The only issue we had was the hot tub couldn’t be used because the water was green. This is only a minor issue overall. Very pleased with our stay.
