It was one of our top 5 VRBO we have stayed in. The hosts Linda and Kerry were very welcoming. The space was so unique, we loved that we felt like we here in a tree house. It was very comfortable and fit all of our needs. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
We came for our honeymoon and the moment we arrived we were greeted by Linda and Kerry the hosts. The Yurt is very well designed and has every special touch u need. Nestled in the forest with beautiful trees. It was quiet and gave us the reset we needed. We will definitely be back.
This is the best place we have ever stayed, ever!! It is so beautiful and peaceful and secluded and quiet and everything in and around the place was perfect. There were so many little things that added to the already exceptional yurt. We never desire to go to the same place twice. We plan on making this our special yearly retreat. Linda and Kerry are the kindest, loviest people we have ever had as hosts. The only problem was we didn’t stay long enough. Top ratings!

I spent many years working in Veterinary Medicine (support staff), as a professional musician, and I enjoy working as a trainer and coach with horses and riders. My husband has guided nature walks and operated Marine Tours . I enjoy spending time here at the farm in the gardens and going for beach and forest walks with my husband and our two dogs, Maggie and Jet. I feel very lucky to be living on such a beautiful property and we love to welcome our guests to share this.
Why they chose this property
Our property is in a rural neighbourhood nestled in a private forested setting. Farm fresh eggs are available across the street, with another stand further down the road. There are acres of forested walking trails right off the property and more down the road. The ocean is a two minute drive away and the sound of the waves and foghorn can occasionally be heard while sitting on the deck overlooking the pasture, or by the fire table. It is a very peaceful area and many guests have described it a 'magical' and 'tranquil'. There are several spectacular Provincial Parks a short distance up the coast with amazing hiking and beaches. There is a choice of unique places to stop along the way offering snacks, wood fired pizza, delicious baked goods.
What makes this property unique
We have recently completed building our Unique Yurt style cabin. It has master craftsmanship throughout. There is a Guest Garden with herbs, tranquil trickling fountain, a propane fire table and BBQ , with a live edge bench to sit on while preparing your meals. The second deck overlooks the pasture, forest and seasonal creek. Convenient storage for recycles and compost Guests are welcome to wander around the farm and go down our forest trails which connect to acres of more trails just off the property.. All in a very private setting. Truly a West Coast experience. Long and short term stays are welcome.
