About this property

TREAT YOURSELF!! At the Opus Condominium #1002 we offer a variety of activities to accommodate up to 8 guests. HURRICANE UPDATE: Due to the recent hurricanes, all oceanfront condos and hotels in the Daytona Beach area have closed oceanfront pools. The Opus had damaged to the pool deck and will need time to repair. Everyone is working hard to get the necessary repairs completed ASAP. I will keep you posted with any updates. The beach access from the pool was also damaged but fortunately we have public access directly next to the complex. This access is very convenient. Just take the elevator to the garage and exit thru the beach access doors. Please know that the general beach in our city has much less beach bathing area left than normal. Prices and availability are current. Located beachside you can hang out on the sandy shores of Daytona Beach Shores, or visit many of the shops, or walk across the street for a family fun day of mini-golf. We also have a gym and billiards/game room for your use. Inside the condo you can take advantage of the 3 bedrooms, complete with 2 king beds and 2 double beds that will comfortably sleep 8 people. Master bedroom boasts a soaking tub and walk in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and roomy enough to make your favorite home cooked meals while enjoying the beach. For your safety, we employ a team of people to clean and sanitize the condo before your arrival. After a day at the beach feel free to hang up your beachwear in the full laundry room and get ready for a night out. You won’t have to worry about finding a parking spot and you’ll beat the heat with our underground parking garage and your personal parking spot. Come feel right at home with us and feel the Opulence at the Opus. The Opus is close to Flagler Beach where you can enjoy breathtaking views while dining in several Oceanfront restaurants, Ponce Inlet and its Historic Lighthouse, Main Street and all of its nightlife, Daytona International Speedway and its adrenaline pumping events, and only an hour from Florida's major theme parks.

Golf trip

Our stay was wonderful and will recommend it to anyone. Everything we could have ask for in the kitchen was there except dishwasher cleaner. No problem for us since we went out to eat. Very pleased with the condo.

About the host

Amy was born in Arizona, and raised in sunny southern California. Amy attended college in Riverside and then embarked on a career in the hospitality industry. Her success in this field would see her rise to be both a general manager and later corporate trainer for well-known restaurant chains.
Seeking further challenges, Amy took advantage of her keen eye for style and gift for decorating by opening a design/gift shop in Tennessee, which was a joint venture with her mother, Faye. The duo saw an opportunity in Mexico to apply Amy's knowledge from her experiences in the hospitality industry, so they opened a restaurant in the town of Ajijic by the shores of Lake Chapala.
Amy is now well settled in the Daytona Beach area, with her nephew Greyson, and her dogs Hank, a Lhasa-poo, and Loretta Lynn, a Yorkie.

Why they chose this property

Just 5.5 miles long, the city features coastline on both sides: the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west. Residents and visitors alike take advantage of the pristine beach – whether for sunrise walks or bicycling, frolicking in the sand and surf, or enjoying the quiet solitude of the setting sun. Boats sail and cruise along the waterway, making the views from either the east or the west particularly scenic.
