Pine Grove Cottage - Visit Monticello, Charlottesville & Many Local Wineries

The Pine Grove Cottage is surrounded by woods in its rural location, but is just 3 miles from the Zion Crossroads Interstate 64 exit and all the retail and restaurants at that interchange. It is 22 minutes from Monticello, and there are over a dozen wineries within a 30 minute drive.

The cottage was thoroughly renovated and luxuriously furnished in mid-2020. If it looks professionally decorated, that's because it is. Everything is brand-spanking new, and beautiful.

The cottage can accommodate seven people if you include the sleeper sofa in the living room. The mattresses in the bedrooms are all Temperpaedic type mattresses, very comfortable.

You will love the patio with its gas grill and fire pit. Also, there is a 1/2 mile trail beside Oliver Creek - great for walking the dog or the kids.

This was the perfect place to stay for a winery trip to Charlottesville! It’s close to so many wineries and had everything we needed. The home is spacious and a great fit for our family of 7. It’s definitely off the beaten path and tucked into the woods, which made it feel peaceful and private.
