HONEY BEE, The Hive Vacation Getaway

The Hive Vacation Getaway is designed to create a fun and safe stay. We recently did a renovation on this house to update it and make it nicer for guests. We want to accommodate and make sure every guest enjoys their stay. We have summered in OGT since my kids were born and they absolutely love it here. This house is a 2 minute walk from the beach. Ogunquit Beach is rated in the top 25 best beaches in New England! We have two kayaks and corn hole for fun backyard activities. There is wifi & ac included!

Newly renovated place with a 2 minute walk to Footbridge Beach

The owner did a great job decorating and preparing the place for renters. It had everything we needed and the owner was extremely accommodating. Two minute walk to Footbridge Beach and Ogunquit River made it the perfect location!

Two minutes from Footbridge Beach. House is beautifully decorated and has bikes, kayaks, fire pit. Walking distance to downtown Ogunquit- about a mile. On a quiet dead end street… just perfect!

First Time to ME

We had never heard of Ogunquit prior to seeing the listing and took a shot. So glad we did! The house and the beach town is perfect for a family getaway. We are already talking about making it an annual trip. Melinda is doing an awesome job with their property. You can tell they care. We highly recommend.

Very Nice

We were celebrating my wife’s 50th and her end of chemotherapy and wanted a long weekend away with the family. This was really nice. For us, it was perfect because it was in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the beach in one direction and a few good restaurants in the other direction. Very relaxing. If we wanted a little more action, we just hopped in the car and within 5 minutes we were the center of town. We didn’t have much interaction with the owner. They did however deliver what was promised. We would definitely return.

Short walk to the beach. Easy to get to and from the beach several times a day. Spotless clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful granite countertops. Comfy power recliner leather sofa. Quick response time from host. Dog friendly home (for well-behaved dogs and responsible owners) with a fenced in yard. Large enough for 2-3 adults. Bring a hairdryer. We loved our week in the house. It’s really nicely redone, and while it’s small, it had everything my family of four needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing, we would walk to footbridge beach several times a day! The property owner was very responsive whenever we needed something or had a question. Highly recommend!

September in Ogunquit

We had a great time here celebrating our anniversary. The property is lovely and is a two minute walk to Footbridge Beach. We could hear the ocean at night while falling asleep which was an added bonus. The owner is so easy to deal with and very accommodating. It is obvious she wants all of her renters to have a great time. We will be back soon!

I purchased this three unit home and renovated it with my 3 children. Lauren, 24, John Jr. 21 and Olivia, 19. We also have a chocolate labradoodle, Bailey. We have been vacationing in Ogunquit for over 25 years and it is truly our happy place. There is no greater feeling coming over the Maine bridge and seeing that sign entering Maine. We are so grateful to be able to share own home with you all.

Why they chose this property

This truly is a home away from home and we care for it in that way. It is our greatest desire to have We've been coming to Ogunquit since the early 80's and my children have vacationed here since birth. This is our third home in Ogunquit and our favorite. It is a 2 minute walk to the most beautiful, tranquil sandy beach in all of Maine(Footbridge Beach). Many say it is a hidden gem, since the entrance is in a neighborhood and many visitors do not know about it. Walking distance to some of Ogunquit's favorite restaurants. Steps to a trolley stop which will take you all over Ogunquit and to the neighboring towns as well.
