After years of thoughtful renovations, this gem from 1970s has become a cherished retreat, ideal for large families and groups of friends. Our prime location is unbeatable! In the winter, you’ll appreciate a short walk to the ski slopes, while in summer, you’ll be just steps away from the lake for swimming, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), or cast a line and fish right in the backyard. After a day of adventure, unwind in the hot tub or rejuvenate in the sauna, making your stay even more relaxing. Adventure awaits with unlimited hiking trails nearby, and for golf enthusiasts, some of the best courses are just a short drive away

From May through October you can Swim, Fish and use the supplied Kayaks and a paddle boat at the private lake steps from the house. We`re only 1 mile to Hunter Mountain Resort, 1 mile to town, 5 miles to Tannersville & 9 miles to Windham Mtn. 20 minutes to Saugerties and 30 to Woodstock. There are 3 golf courses within 20 minutes and a water park and many other activities within 30 minutes.

In the Winter skiing and snowboarding and tubing are only 3 minutes away at Hunter Mountain 1 mile directly up the road and Windham Mtn is only 15 minutes away.

We request that the property and all furniture be left exactly as it was found to avoid any additional cleaning fees.

LAKE ACCESS: use of the lake, swimming area, and boats is only allowed from May 1st to Oct 31st between sunrise and sunset at your own risk, liability and responsibility. Power boats are prohibited.

PARKING: no street parking. Maximum 7 cars allowed. Please park in a driveway only. If you cannot fit all your cars into the driveway the extra vehicles can be parked in the Hunter Resort parking lot ½ a mile away or in the mini mall across from the Valero gas station.

QUIET TIMES: We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it`s home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! HAVE FUN, BE SAFE, AND WHEN ON THE DECK PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS. Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

OUTDOOR FIRE-PIT: New York Campfire Law: No flames more than 3feet high and 4 feet wide. FIRES MUST ALWAYS BE ATTENDED AND FULLY EXTINGUISHED (NO MORE SMOKE) PRIOR TO LEAVING. Do NOT make a fire if the wind is strong, if we`re in a drought and or if the grasses are very dry! If you make a fire, keep it under control and never have more than a few logs going at any one time. This will keep the sparks down and risk to a minimum. Always make sure the fire has burned out and OR been dosed with water before you leave the area. Intoxicated people managing fires are dangerous to all and should not be allowed near any fire!
