Check yourself into this paradisiacal setting. Now exhale and relax! Simple and tasteful open plan living. 1959 bungalow was built with a true understanding of cross ventilation. The beach or river are within comfortable walking distance and when the waves are kicking the ocean can be heard from the back yard and some rooms of the house (if windows are open. -Your choice, close it up & turn on the AC!). The backyard is fenced in w/ pergola that offers the opportunity for al fresco dining. -Neighborhood is quiet with mostly long-term owner-residents. IAMART Beach Bungalow is ideal for a couple plus one and you're welcome to bring your four-legged offspring!
-Large open living/dining area w/ cool kitchen. Florida Room leads to back patio & yard. One month minimum stay. 2 designated beach side parking places for our street if you want to save your steps for the beach! Convenient shopping, great restaurants, banking etc. YMCA with heated pool, gym, yoga 15 minutes away. Gold's gym close also. Close to Daytona, New Smyrna Beach, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast. Day trip to St. Augustine, DeLand, Cassadaga, Orlando.

Please put one set keys back in lockbox and second set with garage remote in wood bowl on dining table.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Wonderful vacation spot!

From check in to check out, we had a wonderful time at this comfortable home. We loved the artwork, backyard and close proximity to great restaurants and the beach. Rachel was a great host.

Excellent proximity to the beach

This property was so well equipped that it took us a while to remember where everything was kept. Walking distance to the beach and just a short drive to the dog beach. Excellent communications with owner.

Great home, location and value

We were very pleased with this charming bungalow. Between the pretty backyard, the wind chimes, and the owner's art work and influence, we found it to be peaceful and enjoyable. The owner was very responsive and pleasant and the home had many necessary supplies. It's a great location in a quiet neighborhood not far from the beach and grocery store.

Great Location

I have been coming to Ormand Beach for years. The location is perfect. We experienced the Daytona 500, Bike Week and Detroit tigers Spring Training in the month I was there. The "Artists Studio" is nice could use a little update, a deep cleaning and some repairs.Otherwise myself and my dog enjoyed our time. The host even recommended a dog sitter, which worked out great on two separate occasions.

A beautiful place to spend a month!

First, Rachel is a gracious, caring and wonderful host. She replies instantly to any request and need. The house was spotless and so decorated with Rachel's own paintings which gave it a totally bohemian artistic vibe. Access was like unlocking your own front door. There was absolutely no intrusions by anyone and the privacy amazing. Enjoy the back yard with chairs and table, a cardinal waking you each morning and going for food and supplies is 2 minutes away. Just North of Daytona makes it so different and not at all touristy. Do yourself a solid and book Rachel's beach home!Ed and Joy

March in Ormond by the sea

My fiancé and I rented Rachel’s bungalow for the month of March 2022. We loved the quiet neighborhood, and the house ,and property were well taken care of, and clean. Rachel displays her paintings in the house, and they added a beautiful touch to our stay. We’re discussing returning next year. Very accommodating, and got back to us quickly when we had any questions.

I am an experimental mixed media artist with a background in interior design. I also enjoy creating interesting living spaces. My friend Chester Perkowski translates waste styrofoam into an art medium. Together we address the challenge of creating the "Recovery Collection" from this newfangled medium. I own two other properties, "Firefly Farmhouse" in Winchester, TN and Franklin House historic railroad hotel in nearby Cowan, TN where I have family roots.

Why they chose this property

The personality of the house and neighbors along with the proximity to the beach drew me to this place. I go back to Spring Break days in Ormond Beach, back when the old Ormond Hotel was still standing. Even then Daytona was a bit much. Ormond is a smaller and quieter town yet convenient to all of your needs There are some great restaurants close by such as Hulls & Snack Jacks,. There are some nice cultural features such as the Casements and Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens. It's a good niche!

Walk to beach. Neighborhood has retro vibe with most homes built in late '50's, early '60's.
Unique beach access and (2) parking spaces assigned to residents of our street.
Close to river, Fortunato Park and "the loop".
Close to fresh seafood restaurants.
