You will enjoy this cottage situated in a private park at 600 meters walking distance from the beautiful village of Sainte-Alvère. All house will be yours, and the private access to swimming pool located in the domain surround by a private forest.

This beautiful farmhouse, recently renovated is the ideal place to enjoy holidays with your family and friends. It’s completely furnished house with full comfort and fantastic atmosphere; it offers a beautiful view of a gorgeous valley. The house is situated on a 7 ha of private grounds with forest, meadows and fruit trees, A 10x4 meters swimming pool.

Superb house in the Dordogne

Very nice and spatious house, ideal to explore the Dordogne valley. The house is situated in the middle of the woods, with the very nice village Sainte-Alvère at a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful Villa , within private surroundings , within easy access to local village .

Firstly , I must say the photos do not do this villa justice , it is absolutely amazing . It suited our group of four adults perfectly , we had a wonderful time the peace and location was perfect for us . The hosts were lovely , friendly and very accommodating , honestly we couldn’t have asked for more and will certainly love to return .

No repair needed

Le Repaire needs no repair, nearing perfection. The house is lovely, clean and well stocked with a good sized swimming pool. It is just remote enough to be very quiet and restful but close enough for an easy walk into St Alvere for the wonderful bread and croissants for breakfast or an evening meal. And our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Superb place to stay.

Excellent property

We have been going to France for many years and have stayed in different properties but by far, Le Repaire out did them all. The house was wonderful, with all the amenities you could require. The pool, the covered terrace and the gardens were first class with lots of outside areas to sunbathe or just relax. Jacques and Benedict were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely would return to Le Repaire. The Robb Family

1 wonderfull week of family time

I cannot fault this property and host. The building and location/setting comes across well in the pictures but is far more impressive in real life. The host was helpful and informative with messages about what local events to look out for. Location was just on the outskirts of a lovely local village with two wonderful restaurants all of which is a short walk away. Our family enjoyed some relaxed downtime, kids endless playing in the pool looking out over the french countryside. We will be returning, thank you. Gareth Costello
