Communication with our host was excellent. Clear instructions posted for location of property, check in and check out. The home was very well equipped with all equipment necessary to prepare meals, something we really appreciated because we do enjoy cooking. The location was private and peaceful. Very clean throughout. Comfortable beds. Other furniture in the home was quite comfortable, also. All in all, our stay was exactly what we had wished for...peace, relaxation, sun and warmth!

Great Bradenton/Sarasota Getaway!

This was a great find, and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Spacious standalone home on a beautiful private riverside property. Spacious, quiet, very comfortably furnished. Easy to access, simple checkin, and very responsive hosts.

Peaceful quiet location

We enjoyed our stay, the property was peaceful, secure and perfect for our stay. We loved every night walking to Jiggs Landing for live music on the water. The house had everything we needed, we will rent again on our next visit. Great owners who responded to our requests quickly. We will come back.

Great location for both sports complexes

We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Cove #2. The location was perfect for our daughter's lacrosse tournament at both the IMG Academy and the Premier Sports Complex. The owner was flexible too when we asked for a later check out after getting in late from Busch Gardens. We also enjoyed the screened in porch. Would stay again when in area.

Great stay. Home is in a gated area with 3 other houses.Kitchen had nice ceramic cookware and plenty of dishes and silverware. Host provided some k cups for coffee, and lots of spices.Floorplan is a little odd. One bedroom is normal, then the other two are added onto the house so you can't access the 3rd bedroom without going through the 2nd one. Jiggs Landing down the street is an excellent park with boats for rent and live music. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Work Away From Office

Attended a conference that was only in the evening. So we worked in the Lanai during the day and attended some lunch meetings. This made for the perfect place to work away the office. We so enjoyed our stay. Zoomed with our team in the morning. It was magical.

Superb Location and Homey

We really enjoyed the beautiful setting at Hidden Cove 2, even though we couldn't actually visit the lakefront. We had an issue with the internet while we were there--correctable by power-cycling the modem and router--but the house was great otherwise. We were very pleasantly surprised by the calm neighborhood and the local lakeside park, Jiggs Landing. We hope to return next year.

Special Oasis

We really enjoyed the privacy offered by this house. We were close by to anything we needed, but also on a large piece of property that afforded us seclusion. The house was exactly as described. This is the best equipped rental! The sunroom was my favorite! Also, I was able to walk on sidewalks in the neighborhoods across the road. We were very pleased and will stay here again if we are back in the area. Our hosts were on the property and attentive to anything we needed.

Tropical Thanksgiving

We decided to spend Thanksgiving with my dad and brother, who reside in Tara Golf and Country Club. Since we outgrew their condo space years ago, we we looking for a space close by that would afford us the space we needed. This place was perfect for our needs! It was only a 10 minute walk from our door to theirs. The house was spacious and the rooms comfortable. The lanai was my favorite spot each morning for coffee. It had a spectacular view of the lake. I wish we’d found this spot years earlier as we come to Bradenton often. It will definitely be a place we use again.

Emergency Trip

We came to town to help my mother in law who's house flooded during a hurricane and chose to stay in this property due to the closeness of where her house is. Being at her house was so hard as it was completely destroyed and it was very sad and made us all anxious and to get to go 'home' to the serenity and tranquility of HIdden Cottage was just what the doctor ordered! We loved this property and would have stayed longer but it was rented starting today so we couldn't. I would definitely recommend Hidden Cottage!

Cute house and beauty grounds

Really enjoyed the stay and the grounds are beautiful. Owners are very responsive and nice. Would rent again, for sure. Wish it wasn’t 98 degrees so we could have enjoyed the Florida room. Everything was here in the house that we needed.

Ultimate Chill

The cottage is really cute. The living space(dining, family and kitchen) is open and airy and opens up into a lanai nestled among palm trees. The property is beautifully landscaped and the hosts are friendly and attentive. We loved our two weeks.

Quiet glade in Bradenton

Due to a family medical emergency, my wife and I needed to make sudden arrangements for a five-day trip to Bradenton. Carole and Haywood provided the perfect spot: an island of calm at a stressful, hectic moment in our lives. Our visits to the stricken family member accomplished much; and what a relief it was to be able to come "home" each day to the Smith's private garden!

A great winter getaway

This was a wonderful place to spend 8 weeks to get away from winter back home in the Northeast. The property was as advertised and our hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond to our needs. The location is great and we fell in love with Ward Lake and the surrounding area in Bradenton. Highly recommend this or the adjacent property.

Nice house on compound

The house was nice, very clean and host were very easy to deal with. They did a great job providing anything that could possibly be needed for our time there. Host does also live on the compound directly behind the rental house so not much privacy but overall nice stay.
