Not as expected
The first thing we saw was a outside stairway that was rotting and the paint peeling off. We had to watch for splinters on the handrail & nails coming up on the stairs to get to the front door. The bad stay way was in just as bad a condition. The bed frames made such a racket we switched to another, but found either the other was loud as well or the mattress uncomfortable. Because of a shelf right above, it was difficult to get into the washer/dryer without hitting your head. The high top table & chairs in the dinette was so large we could hardly use the area. The blinds were broken in the bedrooms so found it hard to block out the sun & light from outside coming in. I have been reluctant to write this because I’m not sure the owner will make any effort to fix anything since it appears that the things wrong have been that way for a while. Very disappointing.

Response from VrboOwner on 2 Sept 2022
This rating is very grossly over-exaggerated. Not sure how you can give the stay 2 stars, yet the last 5 guests that stayed right before you gave it 5 stars. This does not make any sense at all, and I'm not really sure why you rated it so low. Another logical misstep in your review is how the washer/dryer shelf is low enough to where you can hit your head, yet the dining table chairs are too high. If you can manage to hit your head on the washer/dryer shelf, you're already tall enough to sit on the dining room chairs. I don't understand it. In the years that I've had this listing, no one has ever commented on the dining room - not even in private. Nonetheless, I will not continue to harp on this review, but I do urge potential future guests to at least view my response. Your review is simply void of facts, and is precisely why more hosts are getting off of platforms like VRBO and simply renting them out.
This three bedroom condo was just right for our family, including grandparents, parents, and young grandchildren. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Back yard was fenced-in, with grass to play on and table. Good choice of coffee for the Keurig coffee maker! The table in the kitchen, though attractive, was too high for the little ones to access safely.
Two bathrooms with plenty of plush white towels, which was appreciated.
While convenient, the house was quite close to the freeway, which was not mentioned in any of the reviews. Noise was not too bad, as the owner had put in heavy-duty windows to cut it down. It was not loud enough to be distracting, and did not keep us from sleeping at night; however, there seemed to be a drag race on Sunday night. The neighborhood was fine and safe, so we didn't mind the freeway too much.
In all, a good choice for us!
Overall it was a pleasant and positive experience. The property mg responded to the ac issue promptly and his tech fixed it . It’s too bad my pregnant daughter didn’t sleep the first nite because no ac in her bedroom. The interior of condo was very clean and neat and we enjoyed it. An older unit so some squeaky beds and floors but not an issue.
