**The Sundestin Beach Resort is undergoing a building renovation. There will be noise and dust during construction hours (typically from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm daily M-F with makeup days on weekends). The outdoor pool (not heated), outdoor hot tub, fitness center, and Sea Store are open. The splash pad, indoor pool, and Phat Fish Restaurant are closed. Front building parking is somewhat limited – guests may be directed to the overflow lot across the street during high-demand dates. We apologize for any inconvenience. *

SunDestin is a vacation rental complex conveniently located in the heart of Destin, less than half a mile from Big Kahuna's waterpark. Perfect getaway

The condo was perfect for us! It had everything we needed plus some! Location is close to everything and the view from the balcony was breathtaking! Check in was smooth and quick and the property owner/manager was quick to respond with questions and very helpful!!

Sundestin was all it was advertised!

5th floor at the Sundestin afforded great views of the Gulf. The condo felt like a home and not hotel. Very clean and a perfect location to pretty much do anything from Panama City Beach to Okaloosa Island and everything in between!

Amazing time!

The location of the property was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the view of the beach from the balcony, the pool and splash pad were a huge hit for our son! Everything was clean and nice. It was right on the strip so lots of shops and places to eat which was awesome! I’d definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Destin! And definitely plan on coming back next year (:

It was a great experience and it was very clean. I think the only thing me and my husband didn’t care for is how close the bathrooms are to each other and the master bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed. It was close to all the shops, restaurants,and activities.

Excellent property

This was our first time in Destin and had a great time. The condo was very clean, bright and airy. The view from the balcony couldn't be beat. We very much appreciated the restaurant suggestions curated by the condo owner. The property amenities were great - we used the pool and hot tub every day. Nothing but good things to say about this property!

This unit is beautifully decorated and has an amazing view. The location and building is great. Our only problems were there isn’t a dresser (no room for one) and the bed was comfortable but sunk in the middle like a hammock.

Great location and great staff!

Liked the condo, but what was even better was how fast they handled anything we needed! We had a little issue with the bed our first night, but they had someone there to fix within an hour of calling! I'd give them 10 stars on customer service if I could. The location couldn't be more perfect and the amenities were great. Beach was gorgeous, and we also enjoyed the pool! It was perfect for us and our four yr. old. She LOVED being there and that's what really mattered most to us.

Memorial Day Fun

We loved the location and the umbrella beach service! We reserved our umbrellas in advance and it was the best because we were in the front right on the water. The condo was nicely decorated and had a beautiful view. The air conditioning in the master bedroom was loud, but we were so tired we had no problem going to sleep. Bring cash because you will have to pay $2.50 per load of laundry. We were in luck because the weather was absolutely gorgeous. We’ll be back next year! Much Needed Couples Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a much needed couple's getaway away from the hustle and bustle of work and just everyday life. The condo more than exceeded my expectations! Our original stay was for Wednesday-Sunday, but shortly upon checkout (we arrived much later than expected, oops) we decided we wanted to stay an extra night. I asked the front desk people about it and they informed me that I needed to contact the host about it. Once we got up to the condo I messaged the host on VRBO asking if the room was available for Sunday night and if we could check out on Monday instead of Sunday. I got an almost immediate response saying that yes the room was available and my reservation could be immediately modified! The rest of the trip was beyond amazing!! I have too many things to say beyond this review about Destin and our vacation, but this condo definitely became an instant favorite! I would love to stay here again!

Not worth the money. Would not recommend

The condo advertised as new and remodeled, but it’s old building and condo has tons of maintenance issues. The biggest concern is AC unit located in the bedroom. Each time it starts, it’s extremely loud POP sound, and then working like old style vacuum cleaner. The refrigerator is old and half way broken ( no shelves, no lights, ice maker didn’t work), really old loud dishwasher as well, WIFI is SLOW and working only in one bedroom. After all, I asked the host to cancel right after arrival for refund, I was so ready to go and book something else, but basically host refused to cancel with guaranteed refund to me. I end up sleeping on couch ( AC woke me up 5-7 times a night), and cover myself with mattes protector. Host replied fast and tried to solve some issues, but it’s just all uncomfortable and not worth the money I paid. I’m glad it’s over. Will not recommend. Most likely host will reply on my review and pointing out other great reviews for this place, but that’s how I catch.

Irina was a rude and disrespectful guest - one of the worst I have ever hosted. She complained incessantly and any attempt to please her was met with contempt. For example, she said the floors weren't clean enough. I sent my cleaner back and Irinia had kids and stuff everywhere and proceeded to dump her child's shoe filled with sand on the floor right in front of the cleaner! Our condo is arguably the nicest and most remodeled in the building - our appliances are stainless steel and quite new and work just fine. Another guest had broken some door shelves and we had new ones on order and told Irina that! The shelves have now been replaced. Our furniture is also very new and nice. Irinia will never be allowed to book one of my properties again. We have almost all 5-star reviews and most mention how clean and nice it is - which is the truth. Sadly, the review system is not always fair when someone can write such horrible things with no regard for the truth. I take great pride in my properties and make sure they are always very up to date, very clean & well cared for, and well stocked and equipped so our guests can have the best vacation. For any future guests reading this review, I encourage you to read all of my reviews and understand this review is from a disgruntled guest who expected to get a full refund if she complained enough!

Overall nice stay

Stay overall was nice! It was clean which is always very important! The mattress in the main bedroom was so comfy! And the view was amazing! Good location to food and right on the beach! A couple of things that weren’t deal breakers but just didn’t work for us. The bathroom is nice and pretty spacious but we had 4 adults and a baby and it was very hard to get everyone to take showers with the one bathroom! Again nothing on owners part just something we were always fighting with to get out the door quick! The biggest thing is there was nothing in the listing about being required to rent equipment if you wanted any type of shade. We were told it was very strict that you couldn’t have your own umbrellas or shade equipment as a safety concern. So we had to spend a lot of money to rent equipment and turns out there were plenty of people with their own umbrellas/tents they just weren’t allowed to be in front of the rented equipment. This was just a big nuisance because we had already bought chairs and umbrellas to take with us (that I could no longer return by the time I was told about this). We were told we weren’t allowed to use the umbrellas (could use our own chairs but I had an infant that HAD to have shade) but then everyone was using their own umbrellas and it was just frustrating. I just think this should be in the listing and have a fair warning so you can plan for this price (of rented equipment which is very pricey) to be included in your trip.
