Thank you so much for staying with us, and congratulations on your engagement — what an unforgettable way to make your trip even more special. We’re honored our home was part of such a meaningful moment. If you’re starting to think about wedding plans, we’d love for you to check out The Barn at Fern Hollow, our wedding venue located right here on the same property. It’s a beautiful setting for celebrations and might be the perfect place to continue your story. Wishing you both all the happiness ahead.

Had a wonderful weekend away here. Home was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. Water was a little smelly the first day and a half or so, but either got used to it or went away. Has everything you would need for a great stay.

Thank you for the kind review — we’re glad you enjoyed your weekend and that the home matched your expectations. I do want to note that we wish you had mentioned the water smell during your stay. Our cleaner reported it right after checkout, and we had it serviced immediately. The technician found that the anode rod in the hot water heater had gone bad, which caused the odor, and once it was replaced the smell dissipated right away. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again.

Staying at the farmhouse was very peaceful. The host put a lot of effort into making the farmhouse a home away from home. The home was very clean and well kept and the beds were very comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the pond, the hot tub, the fire pit and the adorable ducks! While we roamed the area for sight seeing, we really enjoyed just spending time on the property because it was so peaceful and comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the farmhouse. We hope to visit again in the future!

Winter Getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse! We loved the beautiful view and the quiet location. It is a short drive to most attractions in the area and the kitchen worked perfectly for cooking our own meals. If you visit in the winter, I recommend bringing slippers because it is chilly. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it!

Weekend getaway

Perfect little getaway for our family. We loved fishing in the pond and even caught a large snapping turtle. The hot tub, oversized porch swing and fire pit were also on our list of favorites. The house was so cute with charm and character. We’d love to return

Beautiful historic home in a beautiful scenery

We stayed here for 3 days to do some sight seeing and hiking! The house is beautiful and nicely decorated! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and we had plenty of towels for everyone to shower and enjoy the hot tub! Unfortunately we dealt with some storms and rain but the amazing wrap around porch offered an amazing place to watch the storm! All in all this was the perfect home away from home!!!!!

Sorry the weather didn’t fully cooperate, but it’s great to hear the porch made storm-watching a highlight! We’re happy the home felt like a perfect getaway, and we’d love to host you again anytime.

Great get-away

Overall, we had a great time. We did have some issues with the hot tub, but we were able to get it to work after looking up some error codes. The water pressure in the house is not great, but otherwise everything was wonderful! The house was clean, easy to find, and perfect for our weekend.

Amazing Property!

It simply exceeded all expectations! We were looking for a secluded place where our family could relax and also be close to the Hocking Hills area. The Fern Hollow Farmhouse was perfect! Beautiful property, super clean, and comfy. Check In/Check Out was contactless, but Keri was very helpful and always available if we had any questions. We also enjoyed the Hubbs’ fireworks! 😊 Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Dreamy retreat

The farmhouse was updated and still had lots of charm. There are lots of places to hang out - the huge front porch, the back to dine, have a fire or warm up in the hot tub, the spacious kitchen and large living and dining room. The decor is fresh and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped. Although there is just one bathroom it's a good size with double sinks and we all loved the soaker tub! Thank you Keri for making our stay and the process very smooth. We had a very memorable time!!

Weekend Refresh

There were 4 of us for girlfriend getaway and we had a ball! Our arrival was a little eventful as we had trouble getting our VERY loaded Honda Civic up to the house. Keri sent her husband over and he showed us to keep to the left side of the driveway and we had no more problems. House well stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean up and RELAX. We were actually glad the hot tub was not under an overhang as we had the most beautiful view sitting in it looking at the stars. Already talking about going back next year. One safety improvement suggestion; put some kind of anti skid strips in bathtub. It's a gorgeous tub and rather slick. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely amazing home

We rented this beautiful home for our friends wedding weekend. We were able to get ready and take breathtaking photos around the property. I wish I could give this 10 stars, the home is exactly as described and has moved into our top five favorite homes we’ve rented. I usually try to find something because nothing is perfect, but I honestly can’t think of anything. We will definitely be taking a family long weekend here again, I can’t wait for my kids to come this time.
