Bring your boat we have docks behind the house for a small fee.

I just love this house! It is historical but neat, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, flatware, pots and pans. The screened in porch overlooking the water is so relaxing. I look forward to another visit.

Quaint little house

Boys trip. Two adults and 3 boys. Perfect house for fishing from the dock and portage river. Quiet and isolated, but still very close to the wharf and restaurants.

Fantastic Location, Lots of Charm

We loved staying right on the water in Port Clinton, with quick access to restaurants, the ferry to the islands, and the beach. We loved watching the drawbridge, trains, boats and fisherman from the house. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the space was great. We stayed during the massive heatwave, and unfortunately the AC wasn’t fully functional upstairs, so we had to adjust sleeping arrangements, but the host responded right away and made arrangements to get it fixed. Overall, I recommend this nostalgic little waterside cottage as a great alternative to hotels—especially if you bring pets and kids along.

Fishing for Walleye

Very comfortable for 5 fishermen. Had it's own fish cleaning station and freezer space for your catch. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed for fixing your own meals.

Fishing trip

We had a wonderful time and definitely plan to come again. My husband and his brother enjoyed fishing with the brother’s grandsons as it was their first time fishing. It was a great experience for them. Tammy, our host, was easy to talk to and very attentive. She helped to make this trip enjoyable. I have not problem recommending this property to others.

Beautiful Location

We loved the location, but were a little surprised to be surrounded by mobile home/rv campgrounds. Tammy and Mark are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the game room, but were surprised to find out that it is shared. Having a dock for the boat was very convenient. We all enjoyed the relaxation of the area and the ability to bring our dog along too! Thank you Tammy and Mark!

Owner contact

The Owner was very up front about the conditions of the water level in the Lake. They met us at the property because of construction on the drive and made sure that everything was okay for us and offered to move us to another property if we weren't satisfied.

Great older home

This is a well maintained older home with amazing wood floors. The broom closet had height markers from 1930! Home was very clean, plenty of towels and it is neat to watch the trains on the lift bridge. They very seldom blow the whistles, so it is quiet and peaceful. Large yard with excellent outdoor space. Trailer park is quiet. We did not get to enjoy this like we wanted to, due to the wedding we were in Ohio to attend. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect weekend get away! Fisherman's delight!

My husband and I were very pleased with this property. The house is spacious and homey! Plenty of room to accommodate multiple guests, complete with all the amenities needed, and close to multiple restaurants, stores, and attractions. My husband and I especially loved the waterfront view and the walk out dock! We were able to do some light fishing right on the property! There were some fishing poles, tackle, and kayaks available for use as well. The yard was perfect size for our two dogs to play. The host was very nice and responded promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return during warmer weather.

Bring your boat or jet skis there are docks right out back of the house it is only a 12 min by water to the lake and a public boat ramp 1/4 mile on the river
this home is right next to a marina and the people are great everyone is friendly and you have a great time. Plenty of room for the pets to run
