***Flexible cancellation policy***The perfect setting for a mountain vacation. Sit on the deck or soak in the community hot tub. This 3 bedroom + loft home is perfectly located. A 2 minute shuttle to the base of Keystone, 2 minutes to Keystone Golf, 5 minutes to Lake Dillon & River Run village. The bus stop and local market are steps away yet the setting is private. One car garage + additional dedicated surface space for the cabin. The location offers great road and mountain biking routes, hiking out your door, and FREE ski shuttle within 500 feet. If you are looking for a space that can accommodate a "flexcation" there is plenty of workspace on the main floor and the wifi is reliable.

Walking up the path to this detached townhome takes you through natural rock outcroppings and manicured pines and aspens that back to National Forest. The front entry porch offers comfort from the snow. Inside, the 3 bedrooms are all on the main level while the living areas are upstairs. Voluminous pitched ceiling boasts expansive views and daylight to give it a tree house feel. A covered deck off the living room allows you to relax in all seasons and take in the views and the back deck is perfect for grilling and watching wildlife in the adjacent National Forest. The kitchen, living and dining areas are open concept with gas fireplace. A loft area above the kitchen allows for extra sleeping (there is also an additional sleeper sofa in the living room) with a trundle bed and ladder access. It's a great place for kids to play games and sleep. **The loft is accessible by ladder only and may not be suitable or safe for all ages. The two hot tubs for our small community are a few steps from our home.

There is reserved parking for one car in the garage and another surface space directly in front of our garage unit. Our parking lot has two additional open (non-reserved) parking spaces that are shared for guest use.

This is a quiet, private neighborhood with only a dozen homes and many of our neighbors are full-time residents.

This location is a quick commute to all Keystone has to offer (skiing, golf, fishing, boating, Lake Dillon, Hiking & biking trails. Only 500 ft to the FREE ski shuttle (2 minute commute to Mountain House, 5 minutes to River Run). There is a local gas station + corner store (groceries, essentials and a liquor store) also 500 ft away. For those that like to get outside there is a path with a 15 minute walk to Keystone lake and the amenities around it. All of this while being set back in a private location so you can take in the Mountain air and enjoy your privacy.

There are 2 exterior cameras on the property located at the front entrance and the backdoor/deck of the property for security purposes only.

Wonderful Family Ski Trip

This cabin was the perfect place for our family ski trip. We had everything we needed, felt comfortable, and were impressed with how easy it was to get around. I was able to work from the cabin while the rest of the family enjoyed the slopes. Highly recommended and we would stay again!

Nicely kept Ski/Mountain getaway

This was a comfortable place with a master bedroom and 2 bedrooms separated with a Jack and Jill. The amenities were more than adequate, and it is kept in good shape. We have stayed at some places where the skiers have taken a toll but this was very comfortable and accommodating. We had a great stay. I Recommend!

Great ski cabin near A Basin!

Used this "cabin in the pines" as a base for skiing at A Basin, just 10 mins up the road. It was very comfortable, a true home away from home. We cooked a couple of dinners in and headed to Dillon for a few others. Having three full bathrooms on two different floors was nice. Also used the nearby hot tubs several times, had them to ourselves. We'd like to stay here again! Thanks!

Spring Break Vacation

Great cabin with very responsive owner & property management company. No surprises, as pictures of cabin were totally accurate. We cooked all our meals here & relaxed in the evenings with warm fireplace and games. Definitely a 5 Star plus accommodation. Thank you for a fantastic backdrop for creating wonderful memories!

Great stay

A nice place to stay. Clean and pictures accurate. Very convenient location. The kitchen is very well stocked. The upstairs is very open and comfortable to relax in. The only downside is master bedroom is very small but it wouldn't stop me from booking again.

Spring Skiing Trip

Our family had a great time at the cabin. Large kitchen and great vaulted family room. We had coffee on the front deck and used the barbecue grill on the back deck two nights grilling out. On two mornings we had moose just behind the cabin grazing on the pine trees and bushes. We would love to come back and stay again.

Fantastic vacation spot in Dillon/Keyston

This cabin was wonderful for a family vacation, it was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We cooked in the kitchen and enjoyed the game cabinet. The house is lovely and the location is perfect. It's close to the lake and to Keystone villages. I really loved that the paved bike trail is so close that we could walk across the street and be on the trail that connects to so many gorgeous places. It was great for walking, biking and running in the mornings.

Perfect mountain retreat!

We loved our stay at this property in Keystone! Location was perfect (easy quick walk to the shuttle pick up, 2 mins to town). We loved the warm fireplace, huge living area with tons of seating, super comfortable beds and nice hot tub a close walk away. The loft area was perfect for our teen to get some privacy. Fit our family of 7 perfectly. Well appointed kitchen and bath. Would highly recommend. In fact we plan to book this property for our ski trip next year!

Good value

We chose this location because it was close to the shuttle and resort at a reasonable rate. The living room was very homey and comfortable. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were functional but dated and in need of repair in some instances. The welcome gift was lovely and the ample supply of kitchen and laundry supplies was helpful. Communication with the manager was prompt and professional.

Best place ever

This property was fantastic. Very well stocked in kitchen, blow dryers in bathrooms, plenty of towels, blankets, humidifiers, fans, games and even sleds. The radiant floor heat was so nice. We did have a hard time regulating it during the night and it would get up to 77 without us setting it there. But getting out of the shower to warm tile was worth it. Fireplace was cozy and the Christmas lights on it were a bonus. We even had a Christmas tree! The owners go above and beyond making it feel like home. The location is great also. Easy shuttle or drive to slopes. The snow made the place even more perfect. We do alot of trips and my family said this was the best house yet!

Great cabin, close neighbors

Overall, we had a wonderful 7-night stay at the property with a group of 6 friends. Plenty of space to spread out and 3 full bathrooms. The location is great, especially as a centralized location for surrounding ski resorts. Property has two hot tubs located on top of the garage. One was consistently around 104 degrees, while the other never got above 95-96 degrees, which made for a long walk back to the cabin! Luckily, the hot one was available most times. The kitchen and adjoining living room is very spacious and great for entertaining. Gas fireplace was excellent and the view out the back door helps to eliminate the feeling of being right on top of your neighbors. We are a group that likes to cook most nights. The property definitely needs pots and pans replaced; they were in rough shape. Bedrooms were adequate, although the master bathroom shower needs a little love. In order to get hot water, we had to position the nozzle to barely be in the "on" position, which caused a squealing noise. Other than that, the bedrooms served their purpose. We hoped to use the available garage, but rental pickup truck was too large. Parking was available directly in front of the garage door. For those skiing at Keystone, the shuttle stop is only a few steps away if you opt not to drive. However, beware, the shuttle system is inconsistent at best. We waited over 45 minutes, and were there 10 minutes before the scheduled time. In hindsight, we would have driven.

Family Vacation

The vacation home was very tastefully decorated and nicely stocked with everything we needed. The living room furniture was comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch in the cool evenings. The kitchen had all cooking dishes, utensils, appliances (coffee makers, toasters, blender, instant pot), etc. that anyone might need. We used the grill and there were grilling utensils as well. There was a great selection of spices, olive oil, zip lock bags, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. We made most of our meals in the vacation home, we recommend going into Dillon to the City Market grocery store. It was great to have a full sized washer and dryer and laundry detergent. The master king bed and spare queen beds were very comfortable (we like firmer beds). Our boys liked having the bunk beds and the loft with a trundle bed above the kitchen! There is a nice supply of games and puzzles that our boys enjoyed. It was nice we could connect to Netflix and Disney+ with our personal accounts on the smart TV in the main living room. We also enjoyed having TVs in the master and spare queen room to watch TV or DVDs (these were not smart TVs). Even though there is not air conditioning there are personal fans available but the evening air is cool and comfortable. We really liked having our own dedicated parking spot with the option to park in the garage if the weather was bad. The hot tubs opened when we were there so the kids were excited to use them! The only negative comments are that the carpet and kitchen/bathroom floors could have been cleaner. I was surprised they were not cleaner since there is a no-shoe rule in the home. The master bedroom and queen bedroom are quite small and hard to get around the beds and open the dressers and closets. The closets are small and the master bedroom closet was taken up by a extremely large bag of linens. We moved the bag to the laundry room so we could use the closet but then had to move it out to do laundry. The front and back decks are nice but small - all 5 of us could not fit on them at once. The eat-in kitchen area with the table is a tight squeeze with the kitchen bar chairs and the sliding door to the back patio. The sliding screen doors to the front and back decks were both broken and came off the track when opening/closing. Despite the few negatives we enjoyed this vacation home and the owners even left us a very thoughtful welcoming gift which was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful house situated in close proximity to the resort. Bus stop located within steps from the parking area. This small development is well maintained and a very cozy environment with beautiful views. The home is roomy and comfortable, fully stocked kitchen that was easy for our meal prep, and good instructions laid out when needed. Communicated with host several times and very quick to respond and helpful. This place is a gem and we would definitely recommend.

Cabin in the Pines was the Retreat We Needed

My husband and I loved our stay at this property. We came to spend a long weekend to escape the Texas heat, relax in the cabin and hike around the area. The location for us was perfect - close enough to towns for groceries, restaurants, activities but still felt like an escape in the woods and very quiet/peaceful with beautiful Mountain View’s. The house was equipped with everything we needed (we cooked 3/4 nights), has a great layout with the open kitchen, dining and living plus access to the balcony and back patios. There is plenty of couch and lounge seating to read or watch tv. Their smart tv worked great and the wifi was totally enough for streaming and work emails. The rooms all have bathroom access, are a bit small but overall worked well for us. There is no AC, but we opened all the windows for a breeze and the whole place cools down at night. It wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Vaca Home for Families

This home had everything we could need for an amazing vacation. The house was fully equipped so we could cook/grill there. Also, there were plenty of games for both adults and children and childrens books. The front porch had beautiful views of the mountains and the back porch was wonderful/mountainside. Functionally there are three rooms and a loft. The living room space had great flow to the kitchen so everyone could hang out. Also, it was great to have access to a big laundry drier area.

Home away from home

This cabin felt like home! A lot of rentals have a sterile, hotel feeling, but not this one. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and more! There were so many small appliances and several sets of dishes, including plastic for kids. Our family enjoyed all the books tucked into different cabinets and the wonderful collection of board games. We had brought some books and games of our own, but there was so much already at the cabin! Playing and reading new-to-us material made our evenings super enjoyable! The radiant heating was a new experience for us, but that was fabulous, too. It was cranked up a little high when we arrived, then took quite a while to cool back down, but to step out of bed on to a warm floor was divine, and sitting on the ground playing with young kids was so much more pleasant than usual. The cabin backs up to a nature reserve and we loved seeing all the wildlife tracks and hiking around in the “back yard.” At the same time, we were so close to the ski slopes that we could drop off skiers at mountain house in under 5 minutes! We absolutely loved our stay and would not stay anywhere else in Keystone ever again! It was the perfect place for our family with young kids.

Great stay!

We had a party of 5 and all of us were in town to ski and spend some quality time together. The house was super close to the blue bus route which took us to river run village and the mountain houses. The garage was a great place to park our car and store our skis for the stay. Had very small issues and the property management place replied very fast and the issues were resolved very quickly. Very pleased with our stay here
