Very good stay. Property was located in a place that was easy to make day trips from. The lake views were great. It was clean and everything we needed was at our finger tips.
Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Black Bear Cottage. It had everything you would need and then some. I would definitely come back again.
This cabin was so clean and comfortable. Sunset is absolutely gorgeous from the back deck overlooking the water. The hosts could not have been more helpful and kind.
This is a cute little bear themed cabin in the woods. It is well equipped for its size. We enjoyed being on the lake. The host quickly responded to an electrical outage.
We absolutely love this cabin. We’ve stayed here twice already. The location is perfect. The owners are easy to communicate with and so nice. The property and the cabin is super clean. I love that they have a canoe and kayaks
Very clean, relaxing cabin. Quiet, nice community. Wish the weather was a little nicer but overall it was a perfect trip.

If there is one thing I wish I could control it would be the weather. It is always a crap shoot. Thank you for taking great care of our cottage. You are wlecome back anytime.
My sister and I were on a "memory" tour from times during our childhood when we were staying in Dover-Foxcroft. Our tour was made even more special by staying in this cabin! It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to be and a great home base. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Sunsets were spectacular! We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves visiting this part of Maine again!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. We thank you for taking such good care of our little cabin. All VRBO owners should be happy to have guests like you. You are welcome back anytime
Perfect location… water view from screened porch. Cleanliness outstanding. Owners immediately went out if their way to bring down a phone charger to replace one forgotten at home… so thoughtful. Loons were omnipresent. Kayaks were fun… lake was calm… really enjoyed them.
This cabin is the PERFECT place for a couple to escape from everyday life and ACTUALLY RELAX! It provides the seclusion and comfort needed to have the well deserved vacation we all crave. It is close enough to the coast and Acadia Park that you can make day trips, and come home to enjoy each other. It's large enough to bring preteens, butttt... make this destination just for yourselves!! Don't forget to get cheesecake from MoMo's to bring home and enjoy together!

Everything was clean, cozy, and as described. Lake view was amazing and a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We spent five nights here and I couldn’t be happier!
Cute cabin with a fantastic view. It's close to Acadia National Park as well as many hiking trails. We enjoyed watching and listening to the loons and bald eagles while sitting on the deck. We're so glad we chose this cabin!
A perfect cabin on George’s Pond was just the getaway we needed. Very clean and had everything we needed. Close enough to Acadia where we spent many of our days. Communication with the owners was clear, fast, and friendly. Would love to stay here again.
We loved staying at this little cabin! The kitchen is well stocked, the place was mostly clean and the location is absolutely perfect… the lake is beautiful and peaceful! We loved having a canoe to use. There are kayaks too but we enjoyed the canoe. We took it around the island each evening! The cabin could use a good deep clean for the spider webs high and low. I cleared out several. And the mattress does sink into the middle. But overall we would stay again.
The pictures do not do this place justice. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful view of Georges Pond and not a bad drive to Acadia and shopping in Ellsworth. We will definitely be returning.

Thank you for the respect you showed our property. So glad you had a great stay. You are welcomed back anytime.
Property was as advertised. Stay was pleasant, hosts were great - close by in case of issues - but none to speak of. Cabin getaway was exactly what we needed and the property was beautiful and serene. Cabin was clean and tidy which is a huge deal for my clean freak (in a good way) partner! This place is on our list if we return to Maine!
We absolutely loved the cabin. The description is accurate. We were very comfortable. Communication with the host was great. I would definitely recommend this cabin.
