Das Ferienhaus entsprach voll und ganz den Beschreibungen in der Anzeige. Saubere Zimmer, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ruhige Lage, kostenlose Nutzung des Kamins, kostenlose Parkplätze, freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin und deren Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort.Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus ruhigen Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Perfect for a relaxing "get-away"

From the beginning communication with the owner was excellent. The property is as described, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We were delighted to receive a pot of homemade apricot jam as a welcoming gift. The Wachau Valley is breathtakingly beautiful and we enjoyed visiting many of the recommended tourist sites and then returning to the peace and quiet. It was a wonderful and restorative. We would have no hesitation in renting this property again.

Very Nice!

My wife and I stayed at this property for five days, and it worked very well for us. The two bedrooms and a full bath (including washing machine) are located upstairs. Downstairs is a toilet, living room, kitchen and eating area. We were very comfortable living here, and it's very quiet at night so we slept well too. The kitchen is fully equipped for self caterers, and the house is very neat and clean. You need a car to access this property, which is about 7km up the B217 from Spitz, and Google maps still hasn't figured out where this house is located because it's in a very small village. The owner provides an excellent written description of the exact location so we had no issues checking in. We used the house as a base for hiking on both sides of the Danube, and there are a lot of walking/biking options available. We used the Traveler's Info office in Krems for free hiking maps of the area - very helpful. We never figured out the TV/set-top cable operation, and didn't find any instructions, but that didn't really matter as the Internet connectivity was fast and reliable so we could use our various devices to access information and music streaming. In sum, we really enjoyed our stay at this property and would love to return.

Uitstekend

Het huis ligt in een prachtige omgeving en heeft veel privacy. We hebben nog nooit een huis gehuurd dat zo compleet ingericht is. De eigenaar verzorgt het huis met grote precisie . De omgeving leent zich ervoor om leuke uitstapjes te maken. Kortom een aanrader voor als je rust en ruimte zoekt .

Lovely quiet getaway

A very pleasant holiday home - perfect for a couple or small family - in a hamlet up in the hills about 10-15 minutes drive from the Danube. Very friendly folk as neighbours (though sadly our German was minimal); plenty of nice villages to visit along the river. Good for walking, perfect for cycling. We had a great week.

Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung - sehr sauber und ordentlich

Wir fanden ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Urlaubsdomizil vor. Das "Gartenhaus" liegt sehr ruhig. Alles, was man so für die Selbstverpflegung benötigt, war vorhanden. Von dort sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Niederösterreich gut zu erreichen und auch ein Abstecher nach Wien ist möglich (am besten das Auto in der P&R Garage in Hütteldorf abstellen und mit der U4 in die Stadt fahren). Zudem erhielten wir von der Vermieterin sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und gute Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Und natürlich der Wachauer Wein! Er ist selbst eine Reise wert. Also einfach buchen und die Zeit genießen.
