Welcome to your dream beach getaway! This is the PERFECT beach house to make memories with your family and friends. Everything is new throughout and ready for you to enjoy it. This beach house offers a beautiful private inground pool that creates a backyard oasis. Beach access is just across the street and less than a two minute walk to the ocean. At the corner, stroll down a long dock that reaches over the intracoastal waterway where you can fish and enjoy the views.

This is a spacious 4 bedroom/3.5 bath home and is perfectly located in the center of Oak Island. Relax on the two front decks and enjoy ocean views and the sounds of the waves. There is an indoor elevator that connects from the ground to the 2nd and 3rd floors for easy access.

Inside, you find this home to be open and light, providing the perfect place to spend a week or weekend at the beach. You will find plenty of room for privacy as well as entertaining, with a fully stocked modern kitchen complete with a large island for gatherings. Two master bedroom suites with full baths and comfortable king beds await. The third bedroom has two full size beds and the fourth bedroom has bunkbeds with a full on the bottom, allowing 11 to sleep comfortably.

There is a heated outdoor shower along with a sitting area that surrounds a large gas fire pit. Lots of games onsite, including cornhole, a basketball net and less than a mile to the local outdoor sports recreation park, where you will find basketball, pickleball and tennis courts.

Generously stocked with beach towels, linens, beach chairs and games for your family and friends. Plenty of covered parking is available as well.

Family time at the beach

Our family, three generations, spent a wonderful week together at the beach. The house was perfect for us, offering plenty of room and very convenient to the beach. The kids loved the pool and spent many hours in it. We did lots of cooking of fresh seafood and the kitchen was so convenient for that. And we loved gathering on the large porch overlooking the ocean. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay and make great memories!

A wonderful house with everything you need!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. The owners provided a great house guide, and checkin instructions. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved being able to grill outside. The ocean view on both balconies was just the best way to wake up and wind down in the evening. The pool was our kids favorite part! The owners have thought of everything, including beach chairs, pool toys and yard games. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great Oak Island home!

This property was amazing! It was very clean, well stocked with linens, kitchen items and toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap). There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children. The pool was great and we were able to enjoy that everyday. The walk to the beach was very easy! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Oak Island!!

We absolutely loved the house and hosts! The house was so nice, well stocked, and awesome for our family of six with 4 kids ages 2-11. Great beach supplies, wonderful pool and overall amazing house! Excellent!! This is was our third time to Oak Island and this was the best house so far! I definitely would want to come back to this home. A couple of kids aren't able to handle too much beach, so the pool was great! Great view, very comfortable beds, plenty of room! The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. Thank you!

Wonderful family beach trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures on VRBO don't do this beautiful home justice! The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was more than adequate for our family of 6 to watch a movie together in the living room and also share meals at the dining table. We enjoyed our first meal on the 6-top table on the front porch. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is just a short walk down to the corner to the beach access. And the "kids" (20's) enjoyed the lit pool for night swimming. We will definitely be booking this home again!

Family Get-together

Our family - three generations - had a marvelous time. The home provides wonderful spaces for everyone to gather or to separate for private times. We rotated between the beach and the pool as both were huge hits. We made all our breakfasts and dinners in the home, and the kitchen facilities and equipment made our jobs a breeze. It was a fabulous five days - thank you to the Shields for opening their home to us and allowing us to make wonderful memories!

Perfect house with everything!

Our family shared this house with another family for the long Memorial Day weekend and loved it! Newer construction home with all the upgrades. This home has amazing views. Owners were quickly to respond to any questions prior to the rental and during. Beautiful pool and all the beach gear you could need. We cooked breakfast in and had all the cookware, plates and silverware. We liked to have the washer and dryer for towels! Comfy beds and clean bathrooms! Plenty of space for our party of 7! We will be a repeat renter for sure!
