About this property

Situated close to downtown St. Pete (DTSDP) with all the museums and cultural events, this home is perfect for a family get away or friends reunion. The front porch invites guests to sit and read a good book or to enter the spacious living room to continue the conversation. The living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa and a 60" Samsung 4K TV placed over the fireplace mantel. The living room flows into the dining room allowing you to have a larger conversation or you can have smaller conversations on the couch. The bedrooms are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom providing the privacy of an ensuite bathroom for both bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and a TV with Roku Express.
The kitchen has everything you need to host a celebration or to create a simple meal at "home".
The courtyard is enclosed with a privacy fence. You can have your breakfast, lunch or dinner outside or enjoy cocktails. Or you can lounge and bask in the Florida sunshine.

House wasn’t kept up but the host was very accommodating and responsive.

Host is a 5 out of5 Property 3 out of 5 When my family and I arrived at the home the smell of cleaning solution was overwhelming and the a/c vents were covered in dust. This might not be a problem to most people. but I’ve had several sinus surgeries and I am sensitive to dust, mildew, and perfume scents. When we called the host they were very receptive of our concerns and offered us a full refund

Convenient location

We were in town for a swim meet at the north shore aquatic center. The house is conveniently located about 1.5 miles from the pool which was typically 7-8 minute drive. The house is old and there is no dishwasher but we were prepared for that based on previous reviews. We didn't spend any time on the porch or backyard. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The furniture in the living room could use some updating. The host and co-host were very easy to communicate with.

Small and charming bungalow

We enjoyed our stay. It was adequate for our needs and the communication was very good with the host and co host. Great wifi, nice smart tvs in every room. High quality sheets and pillows. Good location though street parking was always a little worrying simply because one never knew if there would be a spot near the house. Street was quiet even though near a hospital. Front and back yards in pretty rough shape and we didn’t spend any time out there. Kitchen was ok. Super nice new gas range though! No dishwasher so keep that in mind. Utensils and pots/pans could use updating. Pretty decor and charming character throughout. Over all a 4 just because of the lack of updated cookware . That probably doesn’t matter to most people though.

Pleasant over all stay

Dennis was responsive and helpful when any issues came up. The house is adequate although it could use some minor sprucing up. All in all it was a nice experience.

Great house located on the center of St. Petersburg that had everything we needed. Dennis was very communicative and a pleasure to work with. Would highly reccomend !

Was a nice stay

My family had a great time here. There was a problem the water heater while we were here, but Dennis was communicating about it and was nice enough to let us use the shower at another unit was close by. It couldn't be looked at while we were here.. only problem was the cold water and a five year old, but Dennis was accommodating and kept me updated. No worries, it was not his fault. The place was nice and as advertised..

Low Stress Vacay Stay

Cool old Florida house. Pretty quiet neighborhood. Decent amount of space. A family with 4 small kids would be comfortable. We didn’t mind Jack and Jill bathroom at all. Kitchen has everything one needs to cook in situ. Parking on street was never an issue. Location surprisingly good for Vinoy Park, pier, Tropicana and downtown. Freeway access a couple of blocks from property. Plenty of great parks and eats within short walking distance. Highly recommend this location as a vacation hub for those wanting to try different beaches and visit all the great spots in St Pete.

Perfect home base for visiting St. Pete

My daughter and I were in town for a swim meet and needed a safe and clean place to stay, with a kitchen and all the other amenities of home, within easy and short travel distance from the pool. This home provided all that. The owner was great with communication before, during, and after the stay. He allowed us to check in early, which was a great help. The house is appointed will all the necessary items like kitchen utensils, towels, cleaning supplies etc. It has a TV in every bedroom, as well as the living room. The single bathroom/bath/shower is a Jack-n-Jill setup, which worked just fine for the both of us. The washer/dryer located in a separate building in the back came in very handy as well. The house is located in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. For being located near a hospital, we never heard a sound. There is a Walgreens in walking distance for small shopping needs, with a Walmart/Aldis etc. a short car ride away. We will be back for next years meet, and we hope it will be available again.

My daughter and I could not have been happier with this cute little house in historic St Pete.

This property is on a quiet city street with easy access to downtown St Petersburg. The property owner was accessable, friendly and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay

Dennis was a great host. He was helpful, pleasant, and was so good about letting us extend our stay a few days. Plenty of towels, blankets, sheets, etc. Lots of hot water, the house had everything in multiples that we needed and was very clean. Also, the house is located about 20 minutes from the best beaches. A couple of minor problems was the parking (which was described in the booking description) and the laundry is coin operated (maybe I missed this in the description). The house is behind the hospital and many of the hospital staff park on the street in front of the house as well as all the people that live on the street; so parking was at a premium. We were able to relocate the car to in front of the house after someone else moved their car; so we did manage and we knew about this ahead of time. Dennis was accommodating when we wanted a grill to cook out, he brought one right over; and he came right over with an antenna when we requested help getting local channels. Great location and nice quiet side street. We will book again. Thank you Dennis, our stay was great and we appreciate the care you gave us.
