This cottage has 1 Queen Bed in the Upstairs Master Loft, 2 Twin/Single Beds in the Main floor Bedroom, and a Sofa-bed in the living room There is electric heat throughout and air conditioning in the upstairs of the cottage. The are 2 Parking Spaces available per Cottage, overflow parking is available upon request. It is a shale(red dirt) laneway and parking area, the road can be rough and at times muddy! 1 High Chair and 1 Pack n Play(portable crib) are in each unit, if you require more than 1 of each, please let us know before your arrival.

Guests are welcome to access almost all areas of our 30 acre property: Please feel free to take a walk through our trails along the river or spend a relaxing afternoon fishing and birdwatching! We rent out our land to a local farmer and ask our guests to respect the crops and please stay out of the fields.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing few nights in this cozy cottage. It was exactly what we needed in the middle of a three week road trip. We truly hope we will make it back up to PEI and can spend more time in the cottage in the future.

Hosts quickly answered any of our questions, their guest book had helpful info about the surrounding amenities and the cottage was roomy, clean, and provided a fantastic view of the water.
A short drive from Charlottetown, PEI National park, and Green Gables. The cabins themselves are clean and well maintained and the view out your back door is worth the trip itself
Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Great location for a base, while exploring the island. Everything was comfortable. Use of the outdoor patio was so nice. Although we didn’t use the bbq or fire pit, it was nice to have the option.
We had a lovely stay at H&R Cottages and can't wait to return. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. And the view, stunning. A little piece of heaven. Hilary was wonderful to correspond with.
This property is clean, spacious and modern. It is close to beaches and amenities yet it was quiet surrounded by lots of green space. Hosts were easy to connect with but we didn't require their assistance because everything went smoothly and the place had everything we need for cooking and BBQing.
Will definitely be booking again
Our only issue was the patio door, had holes in the screen. Mosquitos came in easily.

We had expected it to be by the beach but was on a farm. I sent an email a week prior for information but I did not receive one in return. There was nice water there but they had not sprayed for mosquitos so we were unable to enjoy it. The cabin had all we needed but the wholes in the screening allowed the mosquitos in. Understand the fields need mowing but it would be better not to do so for 3 to 4 hours when the cabins are rented.

The first line of the cottage description states that it is located on a 40acre property, and as our photos show, its a farm/rural location, not the beach.
I sent you several messages with check-in and property information prior to your check-in date, no response. You then showed up unannounced at 1030am to check-in and you were extremely rude!
We offer complementary bug spray(to be found in the bathroom) to help with the mosquitos. Grass cutting out at the cottages takes 1-2hrs, it was 1pm in the afternoon. If i wait until all of the cottages are empty it wouldnt get cut all season. And then i'm sure you would complain about that too.
Next time, I would advise you read the full property description before booking to avoid any disappointment or miscommunication.
The perfect base of operations for enjoying a week in Prince Edward Island. Centrally located It had everything that we needed to relax when not exploring the Island.
