I have never had a more perfect rental experience. The "Island Gales Cottage" was emaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked for every possible need...both inside and out. It was both cozy, yet spacious at the same time. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and lovely fresh floral arrangements, cut straight from the property. We could have spent the entire week just enjoying the front porch, the side deck and peaceful swing and lawn chairs. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions both prior to and during our stay. I also think the rental rate is extremely reasonable for what you get. We would never want to stay anywhere else on Prince Edward Island and would highly recommend it to others.

Kevin and Lourdes provide all the extra touches to make you feel right at home: providing cookies upon arrival, plentiful blankets and towels, a friendly welcome. The hosue us well stocked with coffee and other needs. This is the perfect spot for your Anne ofGreen Gable adventure. We took walks on the nearby beach a quick drive from the house.

The cabin was beautifully clean and the perfect combination of comfort, space, and coziness. Unlike most cabin advertisements, the pictures were not at all overestimated. The imaginative name, and the breezy colors fit the ‘near ocean situation. It was a five star experience for us.

Island Gales Cottage is an amazing property — gorgeous house, lovely spacious yard, gardens and shrubs/trees for privacy — just lovely! Kevin and Lourdes have thought of just about everything to make this a perfect home-away-from-home experience. We were nine people — grandparents, parents, and three children — and we were so very comfortable! We did a bit of cooking while there and found everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen. The kids had a blast with all the toys and equipment both in the house and in the yard. And the adults loved having a fire in the firepit on several nights — with everything needed supplied by our generous hosts. This was probably a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation (we all drove from New York State), and our accommodations certainly contributed to it being unforgettable!
