Large and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful furnishings befitting the building. Superb pool and surrounding areas. Ample kitchen space and cooking facilities. Plentiful fans for extreme heat and additional ones brought in by the very helpful house keeper. 5 minute walk to boulangerie. Village shops 10 minute walk away gave us everything we needed. Ample parking for 3 cars - 20 minutes drive to airport and 10 minute drive to Bergerac town. Garden immediately outside the property was a little thread bear and the large trees made mosquitoes somewhat of a problem - sitting outside in the evening became impossible. Bikes available for riding down to the Dordogne (10 minutes) on a cycle/walking path. Host very communicative and house keeper could not have been more helpful with local information regarding markets, bin days and information for activities. Thanks for a great holiday, we would definitely consider returning.

Good location for exploring the area. Well equipped, spacious house with nice pool and plenty of parking. Close to shops and airport. Excellent communication from property owners - very prompt to respond to queries.

Large, comfortable house

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week at this property with our 20 month old and my parents. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and the general living area is good. The pool area is great and a really good size. It’s a quiet location with access to the riverside path which we made use of. It is good that the pool is slightly set away from the house to avoid any accidents with little ones although ensure you pack your mozzie spray as we got a lot of bites! We hadn’t realised that towels weren’t provided although the host kindly lent us some. A supermarket is within a short walk but public transport in the area is nonexistent. We managed to organise taxis however I would recommend a car. There aren’t really any restaurants locally so we spent a lot of time in Bergerac which is only 10-15 mins drive and very pretty. Overall, a lovely house in a peaceful area for a quiet break.

Family get away

This was our main two week holiday my daughter and new Husband joined us as well as my mother in law. So our ages ranged from 23 to 73 and it's safe to say we all thought this holiday was fantastic. Lots of room and modern features in a very French modernised property all done sympathetically and ouzing charm. The pool has to be the biggest we've been able to enjoy at the VRBO properties we've stayed in as well as having a nice shaded area for those of us who burn easily. It was a nice surprise to find there is a very short walk to the Dordogne river and pleasant walks along a tarmac path/service road. As it's self catering a local pizza place was great, as well as the supermarket also in walking distance. On arrival we met Damian and we don't speak much French or he English although more than my French, we used Google translate for any areas we struggled to understand. He was really helpful and nothing to much trouble. They were apologetic on our arrival the pool cover wasn't working but it was open so we could use the pool and it was fixed the next day which I thought was great in them making sure from the off we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway and I think we will be returning for another holiday.

Très belle maison

Maison très bien rénovée et très spacieuse. Grand terrain avec très belle piscine. Environnement calme. Accueil parfait. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille, dans ce gîte très agréable. Céline, Thierry et Damien sont très sympathiques et nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison est spacieuse, remarquablement agencée et décorée. Le chemin et la piste cyclable le long de la Dordogne menant à Bergerac sont également de vrais atouts. Encore merci pour cette belle semaine. Nous recommandons ce magnifique gîte sans réserve !

Une belle semaine de fin de vacances

Merci pour cette agréable semaine de vacances. Le gîte a profité aux adultes comme aux enfants. Une belle piscine et des espaces extérieurs qui nous ont permis de nous retrouver à 12 et de passer de bons moment. Un bel agencement et aménagement intérieur. L’accès au chemin le long de la Dordogne nous a invité à quelques footing. Les propriétaires ainsi que Damien qui nous a accueilli ont toujours été très réactifs vis à vis de nos demandes. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir ! Merci

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé une semaine durant l'été en famille et nous avons profiter pleinement de cette belle maison restaurée et décorée avec goût. Tres bel endroit

Le gite est renové et fonctionnel. La piscine est un vrai plus notamment avec la partie de 50 cm ideale pour les enfants. Elle est securisee et en contrebas de la terrasse. Environnement calme et parc tres agréable. Prevoir d'emporter des solutions pour les moustiques. Accueil chaleureux et disponibilité des proprietaires. Nous conseillons.

1 semaine en Dordogne

Bonnes vacances entre adultes et enfants dans cette belle maison à se dorer autour de la belle et grande piscine. Dommage que les moustiques et les fourmis ont été du rendez-vous. Très bonnes prestations dans l'ensemble. Les serviettes de toilettes seraient un plus pour une prochaine visite.

Séjour en famille

Vacances familiales avec enfants et petits enfants. Ce gîte se prête à ce type de séjour. La piscine est idéalement située en contre bas , ce qui permet de garder du calme près de la maison. Quelques améliorations à apporter mais une belle demeure bien agencée, bien décorée. La piste cyclable est au portail du gîte et longe la Dordogne. Plein de choses à voir et découvrir, châteaux , caves , marchés gourmands, etc…

Excellent séjour

Belle maison rénovée avec goût, spacieuse, calme, très bien située. Son accès direct à une piste cyclable est un véritable plus. Céline et Thierry sont des hôtes accueillants, très bien secondés par Damien sur place. Ils ont été très réactifs suite à un dysfonctionnement rencontré, rapidement résolu. Je recommande sans réserve cet hébergement où nous avons passé une excellente semaine à 7 adultes.
