Costa La Vista! Say goodbye to your worries & hello to beach fun and relaxation! Only 7 blocks to the downtown Folly Beach area where you'll find shops, local restaurants, and live entertainment. This classic, updated oceanfront 3 bedroom/3 bath home offers an open floor plan with picturesque views of the beach. Direct beach access and a separate mother-in-law suite provide plenty of space and will create a memorable beach vacation for guests of all ages.

Enter on the main level of the home into the fully stocked kitchen. Kitchen flows into the L-shaped living and dining area where you'll enjoy large windows directly gazing out onto the ocean. Relax on the large, oceanfront deck with a cool beverage and feel the Folly sunshine. This is also the perfect spot to see the picturesque sunrises.

Up to 8 guests will sleep soundly at Costa La Vista. Main level includes 2 bedrooms. King master bedroom has a flat screen TV, walk-in closet, and private, full bathroom. Guest bedroom is comfortable with 1 queen bed and a flat screen TV. Full bathroom is easily accessible for these guests from the hallway. Ground level mother-in-law suite has a queen bed, a futon, flat screen TV, private entrance, and a full bathroom. A futon is also provided in the mother-in-law suite to sleep additional guests.

Downtown Charleston is a short 25-minute drive away. There you will be immersed in history, fashionable boutiques, souvenir and local markets, world-class restaurants, live entertainment, and carriage, history, harbor, ghost, and food tours. Take a stroll along The Battery, Waterfront Park, and Rainbow Row. Visit the Children's Museum and the South Carolina Aquarium. Float on a ferry to Fort Sumpter where you can spend a whole afternoon.

Parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. Amenities include keyless entry, contactless check-in, an outdoor shower, free WIFI, YouTube TV, modern appliances, washer/dryer, central heat and air, VayK Life beach gear credit, gas grill, and direct beach access. Fireplace not for guest use.

Home is non-smoking. Pet friendly with fee of $125 plus tax, per pet. Maximum 2 pets allowed. Must be 25 years old or older to rent, no exceptions. No events or parties allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Property has 24/7 on-call emergency maintenance services. We hope to host you on Folly Beach very soon!

This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks and loved it!! The beach is beautiful and the views are amazing from the deck. Our two small dogs loved walking the beach everyday. The downtown is very quaint with shop and restaurants! Definitely eat at lost dog and taco boy! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals!! Shower was always hot! Recommend this home 100%

Property is just as presented. Great location. Close to restaurants and fun bars. Beach was perfect. Property maintenance was amazing. We had several small issues but we’re fixed immediately. We would definitely enjoy staying at the Beach House again.

Loved our stay and would do it again. We only looked in the first floor in law suite and it was nice and cozy but needs to be aired out as it is musty.

The home was inspected by a licensed pest control technician following your report, and no signs of bugs or pest infestation were found. If you noticed any insects, they were likely typical for a coastal environment. The exterior windows were recently cleaned. However, during the week of your stay, the area experienced significant rainfall, which unfortunately caused residue to quickly accumulate on the exterior glass. The painter's tape you observed around the window-mounted AC unit was placed there temporarily by our maintenance team to create an even tighter, more efficient seal. This is a standard measure to improve cooling performance and energy efficiency. We apologize if the unit's noise level bothered you. One chair cushion has some visible discoloration, but that cushion has been professionally treated and is thoroughly clean. We understand you were disappointed that your request for a full refund was denied, as the circumstances surrounding your cancellation did not qualify under our established policy. We strive to ensure all our guests have a comfortable and high-quality stay. We ask guests with concerns during their visit to contact us immediately so we can address and rectify the concern while they are on site.

Lovely house ON the Beach! Hosts were wonderful. We did get the free bikes and chair rentals to have fun in Folly but I guess we brought the North East snow with us.First time in 7 years apparently We walked to all the restaurants while snowed in and met some great locals. The house is a home run and would love to stay again when the weather is above freezing!

Great stay for my family and me for the week! The only complaint I had was on the cleanliness. When we arrived, there was sand all over the floors and bedroom as if no one swept the floors prior to our arrival. Other than that, place was very nice and in a great location! Would recommend staying here!

Perfect location!!!! House shows its age and has a huge problem with ants. Kitchen sink has no hot water and the washing machine was not operable. House pulls a premium rent based on location alone but the owner needs to spend some serious money on upkeep and the overall condition of the house. Front deck seems sturdy but looks like its falling down hill badly on the left side of the house.

It really is about the location

Location was perfect! We absolutely loved that you could see the beach from the windows of the living space. The in-law suite where our teenage girls stayed was not the best. It was musty and none of the lights worked. The AC stopped working but was fixed the same day, so that was great! Impressed with the quick response. Folly Beach is a great place and we will definitely be back next year!!

Plus things great view and neighborhood. Upstairs beds comfortable. Minus things Downstairs mother in law suite very musty and dark. Needs dehumidifier. Would not let guests use this room. So for a two bedroom house, not a good value for 800.00 a night.

The people at Carolina One were great! We had a small issue that was handled promptly. The property left a little to be desired though but as far as being right on the beach was great. Some cosmetics in the house needed updated and perhaps painting. We didn’t spend any time in the grandma suite. If the owners would invest around $10,000 in the property this would be one of the nicest houses on the island.

The view is 5 star for sure. The location is excellent. The house itself is dated but comfortable enough. We had a problem with palmetto roaches on the bottom floor. The rental company responded quickly and put part of our party up in a different accommodation for our stay. They were very efficient and responsive. They offered to move all of us, but we had seniors in our party and they wouldn’t have been able to make the trek to the beach. We were very disappointed that they only gave a 10% discount for our stay. Half of our party ended up a mile away and three blocks from the beach. So we paid almost full price for an ocean front home, but we were only able to use half of it, and the family was split up for our vacation. This couldn’t have been avoided, but a greater discount would have lessened the blow.

However, it's true that sometimes a few palmetto bugs can find their way inside, especially after a lot of rain as they are quite common in this coastal area. We sent a pest control technician as soon as the issue was reported to us who thoroughly inspected the property and confirmed there was no infestation. Our offer for relocation and to provide a partial refund was made in good faith, as we genuinely wanted to make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately since there wasn't anything wrong with the property, your circumstance did not warrant a further refund. We truly hope that despite this inconvenience you were able to make some wonderful memories. Your feedback is valued and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Great location

Love Folly, lovely location near enough to walk to store/restaurants, and right on the dunes. However, I would not book this rental again. The lower level suite is noticeably musty, and dingy. The main bedroom is separated from the living room by french doors with a broken latch, jury rigged ( unsuccessfully ) with a paper clip. Per other reviews, the nonstick pots are not safe for use, there are electrical issues( front room SE plug hissed and sparked, exposed wires), and where other rentals would have books or games for a rainy day, here you have family photos and keepsakes. If you are a group of adults who all go to bed and rise at the same time, love cottagecore, and are not planning to cook in, it’s perfect.
