The house, of 120m2, classified 3 stars by the tourist office of the Thau basin; is on 2 levels, equipped for 8 people, it is located on the island of Thau, (which is now an almost island), on the edge of the Thau pond whose perimeter is 40kms, you can swim there from the house since it is on the edge of the pond! This house which has its small Mediterranean garden, is part of a very Sète housing estate, built in the 80s! Residential area outside the dense urban areas, they are almost all inhabited by their owners since those years! which makes it a very quiet place. I have just had the work carried out, in 2025, energy renovation work, including reversible air conditioning, insulation of the facades from the outside, a thermodynamic water heater, ventilation, attic insulation, all this will ensure maximum interior comfort and it is my main residence, the decoration is warm, personal, and I like to continue to make improvements, you have a summer kitchen on the terrace with a gas plancha, not overlooked in the enclosed garden.<br>On the ground floor a double bedroom area with a shower room and separate toilets make it a space that the elderly greatly appreciate, and the living room with an insert for the winter the dining room and the kitchen are open space, upstairs, 3 double bedrooms, a large shower room and separate toilets, there is a cot, a high chair and games, toys and books for children. I have taken great care in the choice of bedding, and all the guests appreciate the comfort! This house allows several generations to live together! on the ground floor a TV with canal+ and Netflix subscriptions, wifi, of course. Sète is a small town full of charm, with its port and the halls open every day where you can taste oysters from the pond, while doing your shopping, many small restaurants, to discover, in summer, at the theatre of the sea, the musical programme has nothing to envy to the big cities, the region is exceptional in diversity and richness. Nearby the Camargue and the Saintes Marie de la mer, Uzes, Nîmes, Arles, Avignon, and also the Cévennes, the Pyrenees... go and spend a day in Spain which is only 2 hours by car😀 around the pond of typical and charming villages such as Bouzigues and Marseillan where the oyster beds are located and you can enjoy it in their small producers' restaurants. The sunsets over the pond are beautiful, and it is rarely bad weather, this house is ideal for radiating in the city and in the region, a haven of peace and rest.
