We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Big Canoe! The views were stunning! We loved the ambiance from the moment we walked through the door. All the extra amenities (heated floors, heated towel racks, etc) made us feel like we’d found a little luxury oasis in the trees! We’d love to be able to to stay again when we’re in the area!

Loved this treehouse cabin! Of all the options we looked at to spend our anniversary, this property was by far the best choice! The pictures were awesome, but being there in person was an absolute experience. It has all of the modern luxuries and accommodations needed for a romantic getaway for two, including a wrap around patio that overlooks the lake - perfect for morning coffee and evening talks, and the soothing jacuzzi proved great for tired muscles after long hikes at local parks. In addition, the host was quite responsive and the gated Big Canoe community was also very beautiful, well maintained, and offered fun things to do.. Trust the reviews on this one...you will not be disappointed!

It felt like we were in a treehouse! The home is nestled in the trees and everything one needs is included. The bed is comfortable, the shower incredible and the living space is cozy. This was the second time we have stayed in Evermore and we hope to be back soon. Our hosts were kind and helpful and easily accessible. Big Canoe is beautiful! While there we toured wineries, shopped local antique shops, saw waterfalls and ate at some amazing restaurants. Sitting on the back deck that overlooks Lake Petit was a restful way to start and end the day. It was my best birthday ever!

Love this tree topper! I have stayed in several tree toppers through the years and this one was a luxury stay. Clean, well appointed, quiet and relaxing. We will stay here again!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The bathroom floors are heated, they have a towel warmer, and the shower is amazing! We had a wonderful weekend and highly recommend this property.

Absolutely beautiful house in a studio layout. We will definitely try to stay here again if we are in the area. It's a perfect place for a romantic retreat. The views were incredible with the wrap-around windows. Kitchen and hot tub and deck, as well as the decorating were all fantastic. Was nice to have a washer and dryer as well. We loved sitting outside eating breakfast. Really clean and well maintained. Very quiet outside. Great communication from the owners and easy check-in and check-out. Bathroom was really nice with heated floors, but we found the toilet to be too fancy for our tastes - kept beeping at us and raising and lowering the lid and and had too many ambiguous buttons performing surprise invasive things that people more familiar with bidets and advanced toilets would laugh at us about. My wife and I joked that the toilet seemed to be possessed by AI and running the house, and did everything except flush well, which is kind-of the point of a toilet :). Mattress was really comfortable. Very private even with the other treetop houses next door. The take-out food from Duffer's Grill near by was great for breakfast. And definitely eat at Lucky Hare just outside Big Canoe - the food was fantastic. The owners of this rental house have done a fantastic job - stay here, you won't regret it!

27th Wedding Anniversary Getaway

My husband & I enjoyed spending time together for our 27th anniversary at the cabin. Everything about this place was perfect! It was so peaceful & relaxing, I just wish we could have stayed longer, we didn’t want to leave! Hopefully we can come back sometime.
