Wonderful

Very clean with many amenities and well stopped refrigerator and pantry love the kayaks and the paddle boat and the Sandy Beach was very adequate. For eight people we could have used more trash barrels, but we notified the owner and got an immediate response. We enjoyed the gorilla very much. We appreciated not being obliged to complete the laundry in order to be able to leave on time. We appreciated the air conditioning and the close proximity to the country store.
Excellent vacation home!! Everything you need to keep the adults and children occupied and happy. Great location for all the region has to offer. The view and lake are beautiful! Owners are wonderful and very attentive! Definitely will be back!!
Look Elsewhere on Lake Winnisquam or be surveilled...
Owner never posted that the property had 7+ 'Ring' cameras...some pointing to where our family would be enjoying our Lake Winnisquam vacation...BEFORE we booked. We would have passed on the home. I taped them over and immediately got a call from the owner informing me that the cameras would remain uncovered "for our mutual protection". Thanks, but no thanks on being surveilled! I informed the owner that I didn't want or expect my vacation to be 'under surveillance', but she refused to turn them off. CREEPY! The property may have been awesome once, but it's only passable now. The porch is INFESTED with spiders...they're EVERYWHERE. Enjoy! The so-called "well-stocked" kitchen has old yard-sale furniture and the only fry pan that looked useable had remnants from a former guest's grilled-cheese sandwich for me to clean. There are all these RULES posted on the fridge...take your time, you'll need it. I felt like I was back in basic training. And there are 'items' to buy (at crazy prices) in one cupboard...but you're only seconds away from the convenience store across the street! Fortunately, we had a great time with family IN SPITE OF the CREEPY OWNER and her SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS!!!! We won't be staying here ever again and I'd urge you to think hard before you do, too. Lake Winnisquam is very nice...too bad CREEPS like this owner have to try to take the fun out of visiting.
Loved being in walking distance to the country store and lobster shack. Was also a lot of fun being right across from the sandbar which got pretty busy on a Saturday. Yard was perfect for a lot of activities, would definitely stay again. Originally a bit hesitant from reading another review, the Ring cameras weren’t an issue whatsoever during our stay.
We had a great stay. The lake is beautiful and there is a marina to rent a boat in walking distance. The house has all you need. Big kitchen, renovated baths, and a gorgeous wrap around porch. The beach was sandy and there were lots of little extras (lots of out door seating, beach toys, a big yard with ladder ball). The property owner was very responsive with questions. Overall, just loved our stay!
This rental was perfect for us. The location was beautiful, the house was clean and spacious. When we weren't boating or swimming, we especially enjoyed the wrap around deck and the large yard. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

We are a family of five and live in eastern MA. We are happy to share this fun place with other families in hopes of creating wonderful memories.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property due to its proximity to activities (stores, mini golf) and its large yard, which is hard to find with a water front property.
What makes this property unique
This house has 2 small beaches, large yard for lawn games, gazebo, wrap around porch, is close to the sand bar, and has a private dock for guests to use. We also welcome dogs so the whole family can enjoy vacation.
