Family house with 4 en-suite bedrooms, 360° views, a private pool in 7ha of land, rated 3 stars!

Holiday home Moulin de Jarrige has a slightly elevated position, with panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. It has an ideal location in the heart of the Dordogne nearby the wine areas of St Emilion and the market town of Ste Foy. It has been restored with lots of charm. Everything has been done to create comfort for the guests, with en-suite bathrooms in all bedrooms, plenty living space for adults and children.

We can also now offer to be a stopover for a few days on your riding holidays, as we have space to accommodate your horses in our stables and paddocks!

Nearby you will find a 9-hole golf course, a horse riding centre, a swimming lake and many other opportunities for outdoor activities.

Each bedroom comes with its own en-suite bathroom. 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 king, 1 twin) and 2 bedrooms downstairs (1 king, 1 twin) offer privacy for 2 families of 4.
Baby cots, baby bath, bed rails and stair gates can be provided for extra safety of your infants and toddlers.

The house had everything needed for a fabulous stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. Bedrooms were lovely with an en suite for each room, perfect for a large family. Pool and gardens were great and made for a relaxing two weeks stay.

Excellent stay

If you want peace and quite in a beautiful location within easy reach of all the things you need - this is the place you you. The owner was very helpful and easy communication with as much or little information as you prefer. Within easy reach of Bordeaux (much nicer than I expected for a city) and many old villages and towns with markets etc. Would defiantly consider staying again.

Beautiful house in a stunning setting. The pool is huge as is the gardens. The small village nearby has a lovely bakery and there are many other amenities close by. Fabienne the owner is incredibly helpful, and was always on hand to offer tips/advice when we needed it. Our holiday didn't quite go to plan, due to a medical issue, and the assistance Fabienne gave us was hugely appreciated.

Wow! a stunning place

Wow… this place is absolutely beautiful! The photos don’t do it justice. The host Fabienne is so lovely, helpful and accommodating we would go back in a heartbeat. A perfect remote location with plenty places to visit a short drive away it was the perfect location for our two families. The pool is great! The patio was perfect for our evenings while the children swam until late. Comfortable beds, everything you need and more! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for. Fantastic stay.

Un séjour parfait dans cette grande maison périgourdine !

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette superbe maison familiale, nous étions 2 familles, 4 adultes et 3 enfants entre 16 mois et 4 ans. La maison est tout simplement idéale, il y a 4 chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain avec WC. Chaque famille a son étage donc on ne se dérange pas. Impossible de se marcher dessus ! Les pièces de vie communes sont spacieuses et la maison est particulièrement équipée. Il y a deux frigos avec une arrière cuisine bien pratique, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge…Et c’est d’une très grande propreté. L’extérieur est incroyable : une chouette terrasse avec jeux pour enfants qui donne sur un très grand jardin avec une vue imprenable, notamment sur une très belle piscine. Il n’y a pas de vis-à-vis, les seuls voisins étant les chevaux, pour le grand plaisir des enfants. La propriétaire habite la maison mitoyenne. Elle est d’une grande discrétion, très à l’écoute et aux petits soins. C’était un plaisir d’échanger avec elle et de partager sa passion de l’équitation, en compagnie de son labrador adorable qui ne manquait pas de venir réclamer sa part du petit-déjeuner et du dîner. La maison est juste à l’entrée d’une forêt dans laquelle se promener longuement, mais aussi de très jolis villages comme Issigeac ou Bergerac. Nous avons adoré.

La maison est très bien et sur un terrain magnifique! La vue est belle, la piscine est bien située. Nous étions 2 couples avec enfants et l’organisation de la maison s’y prête parfaitement. Il y a de la place et tout le matériel nécessaire. Je recommande sans hésitation!

Un endroit idéal pour se reposer. La propriété est tout près de la forêt, en pleine campagne. Des vacances au calme, dans un cadre très agréable. La maison est très confortable. Nous avons passé deux semaines très ressourçantes.

We are a family of horse lovers, who after having spent close to 20 years overseas, mostly in Asia, were looking for a place to settle, with ample space to welcome family and friends.

Why they chose this property

With 7ha of land, stables, paddocks and a direct access to the forest, combined with comfortable accommodation in one of the most beautiful and popular area of France, Jarrige had everything we were looking for.

What makes this property unique

The lovely countryside is interspersed with medieval, bastide towns and fairytale châteaux rising from the morning mist.
It is a great region for food lovers; all the Périgordian specialities such as Foie Gras, confit d'oie and canard, mushrooms of all types are in abundance. The wineries of St Emilion are a stone throw away.
Many antique and food markets throughout the year.
A 9-hole golf course and a popular swimming lake nearby.
